Yay Netflix!
I watched the first, so this was a no brainer. Mainly because Ginger Lynn is in it, more on her later...
This time they talk to Lisa Ann, Darren James, Ginger Lynn, Brittany Andrews, Chasey Lain, Tabitha Stevens, Georgina Spelvin, Johnnie Keyes, and Janine Lindemulder. They also throw in a couple of lines from other randoms.
Each performer is their own unique story of how they got into the business and what they got out of it. I found the performers here to be more interesting than the first film.
Johnnie Keyes is a trip, and according to him, the reason for the myth of black guys having big dicks. His origin is sad and the timeline of his story seems a bit off, but he seems like someone you'd want to hang out with.
Darren James is a performer who gave three women AIDS without knowing. What he's done with his life since is impressive.
Georgina Spelvin was in one of the most famous porns ever from the 70s.
Janine Lindemulder is the saddest story and has ties to actual celebrities.
The rest are women who loved the business and got out on top. Ginger Lynn, in particular, will make you appreciate her work a LOT more. Trust me on that one. She's also the only porn star I've ever met in person, and it has made me re-examine our conversation.
Oh, and Brittany Andrews might be the worst person in the world. Her laugh will grate on your nerves and her complete lack of intelligence will make you madder. She is easily the most unlikable person I've seen in a documentary in the past week and that list includes actual pimps, "slave owners/abusers", and the twisted fuck who destroys lives in Tickled. I wouldn't fuck her with Gordon's dick and Catt pushing.
I think this one is better than the first. An enjoyable watch that'll also make you feel a LOT less guilty about old school porn, and more guilty about new porn.
