Planetary Annihilation A.K.A. The REAL Total Annihilation. . .
Check it out! Hopefully you're as excited as I am for this release within the next few years....
Supreme Commander was just too different from the old TA for me, never got into it as much as I did back in the 90's.
THIS however, looks much like the old one!

I assume the graphics are simplified until they get more money for more artists...
But it would be interesting if they were going the TF2 route for their art design.

That was ONLY a video of what they want the game to play like. That isn't what the game will look like at all from what I'm hearing, but it looks awesome as hell! From what the Kickstart page is saying, they needed 900,000 in pledges, they got well over 3 million heheh. I don't think they're hurting for money at all.

Yup, I'm already on board for this one whenever it is done.
I think I should have some sort of beta access or something, but I haven't really been paying attention. Too busy playing Minecraft.

I had a lot of fun doing Team and FFA multiplayer in Supreme Commander 1+2.
Would go again anytime.

SC is a great game forsure, like the first one a bit more than the second one. Second one they seemed to greatly shorten the game lengths which isn't a terrible thing, I just sort of enjoyed the longer game play; turtling and what not.
If you pre-ordered the game it'll tell you on that link what you get. Alpha and Beta testing were included in there along with a whole bunch of other extras.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they kept that art. I liked it. Retro with cleaner lines and stuff.

It might be cool, although I never looked at the original TA and thought TF2.
Either way really, its how well they match the gameplay/units (Core/Arm not this lame crap they have now) to the original one.
