Yay my friend's HBOGo account!

Documentary about prisoners stuck in the segregation unit. This unit means you're in a cell for 23 hours of the day alone. A closed off cell with the only window you can see out of pointing inside. When you go outside it's into another cage the size of your cell.

All are there for breaking rules elsewhere, and most have been there for years.

The documentary paints us a portrait of these prisoners as victims of these cells, and it's very likely true. It starts off putting these men in a favorable light. You'll come to like them. Then it reminds you they're not there because they used expired coupons.

Still the film crew seems to be torn between protecting the innocent and humanely treating prisoners. Even the prisoners themselves don't really have an answer.

Decent doc if you have the means to see it.
