It is. Just asked her again:

"I want to cast. . . Magic Missile."

Then:
"I'm going to attack the darkness."

I kept telling her to roll a d0, and she'd roll a 6 sided die and ask if that was good enough.

Just enabled the "Ask the DM" skill. I can ask Alexa about 5e rules.

"Alexa, ask the DM what are the affects of poison"

"A poisoned creature has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks."

She did not know how many hit points a zombie has though.

Ask how many hit dice it has.

I tried that too. Negative. She seems to know more "Player Handbook" stuff than other stuff.

I've played with it more, and it's sensitive about how you ask the question.

"Ask the DM about the Paladin" gives an error.
"Ask the DM to tell me about the Paladin" gives the page number in the handbook.

Over all, too often I'm spending too much time trying to find the right way to ask the question. I could have just looked it up. Maybe I'll learn its syntax and be able to ask the questions in the way it wants me to. But I doubt I'll spend that much time with it. Bummer.

It's good at rolling dice though. "Ask the DM to roll a d20 with advantage".
Alexa: Your first roll is a 3. Your second roll is a 20. The result of this roll with advantage is 20.
But it's slow as she's verbalizing everything.

I tried to install some smart light switches today:

1) They are bulky as hell. Hard to get back into the original, uh, wall thingy with all the wires, too.

2) I thought I was buying a two-pack. I instead bought 2 switches, but they are supposed to be installed on the same 3-way switch. Ooops.
