The article is in poor taste. This is a time of mourning for the people that cared about them. Many of them in their religious community. Agree with their beliefs or not, there's a time and a place. This ain't it.

Eh, that's just your opinion, and a poor one at that. It's information about a story and explains to many who didn't know already who these people are and why they were in Mexico, which I bet was a pretty popular question.

Obviously not too poor of one. It was popular enough that the AP has changed their approach to promoting this story twice now on Twitter. My understanding was that they were on their way to a wedding when killed. This article added zero substance to the story of their murders.

I see this as a version of "she was asking to be raped, just look at the way she was dressed".
