Sometimes I wonder why Democrats have stupid positions. Like the border. I don't get it.

ALmost posted a reddit threat yesterday.
Some republican woman was being mocked for supporting the separation of families at the border. The reality was it was for 72 hours and a DNA test to ensure it wasn't trafficing, but was misrepresented as, just, caging children because that is their kink.
The comments, over a hundred, hyperbolic calls to end the threat of the scum of the earth, perverted republicans. How there is no organization in the history of human civilization as evil as they are.
I was going to post it as an example of "this must be 90% paid operatives."
I seriously would love to see the budget for online, bulletin board propaganda for all sides.

I have heard the conspiracy theories: Votes, to help with redistricting, filling the military, (etc., but yeah I don't get it either. Especially since so many Hispanics are voting R now. It doesn't take a political scientist to see that most Hispanic cultures match the political right in this country.
If you go back to 2007 when Biden was VP you can find all kids of speeches and interviews where he says the exact opposite of his current immigration policies.
Plus, it's so insanely unpopular with voters. Makes no sense.
I don't think it'd be as big as you think.
Some of their core supporters (D and R) are so vested that they actively spread this stuff and convince themselves everything they make up is legit and their actions are just.

Also, a lot of people are fucking morons. For free. I try to stick to finance forums on reddit, but even there, I'm exposed to the stupidity at times.

People are generally starved for purpose (why is a whole other topic) and when they find something to dig their claws into, they make it their entire personality. Point being, they can't discuss anything without bringing their shit into it.
Had a conversation with someone the other day when I started it by bringing up something so trivial that I cannot even remember what it was now. Within 40 seconds I was hearing, from a very loud angry voice, how ________ has fucked everything up and it's their fault the world is the way it is and how they should step aside and let __________ take over.
People who do this are not stable, but they are on the internet, particularly reddit. They were on FB, but their families have told them to shut the fuck up.

I wonder if the bussing of illegals to places like NY has had an unintended effect? It's just interesting that Biden is backtracking at the same time Dimon is saying this sort of thing. Years ago I told the story here of a local school teacher that was killed by a drunk illegal in a car, and asked everyone how many deaths to illegals do they think is allowable, until we needed to get serious about the border, and who was willing to go to the funeral and tell the family "sorry, but her murder is still under the threshold of what's unacceptable."

The border is his responsibility.
