He's being investigated, it turns out. All this happened while Pelosi was in Africa with Omar. I suspect this was like waking up with the horse head in your bed as far as messaging goes.

Lots of infighting among the Dems.

Freshmen Dems (not in "The Squad") are pushing back against impeachment.

AOC upset by right wing ad aired during the debate.

Read the article. That Heng woman gives no fucks.

At this point you could almost merge this thread with the MSM one.

That meme Gordon posted is kind of my favorite right now. It's so ridiculously accurate. I cannot fathom how someone can stand on both sides of the fence like that and firmly believe their logic is sound.

Democrats make America great.

Share of real GDP, by congressional district in 2018
Democrats - 63.6%
Republicans - 36.4%

Higher income, education, etc...

Except for the fact that all the people who do the actual work are mostly Republicans. The military, civil servants, farmers, tradesmen, etc. You know, people who don't live in cities, don't attend expensive universities getting BS degrees that apply to nothing, and so on.

Seriously though, wouldn't the cost of living dramatically affect those numbers? California, Chicago, and New York are among the most expensive places to live, and thus, pay has to be higher. A farmer in Idaho might make the same as a school teacher in Manhattan, and while she's higher educated, his money goes a lot farther.

Another Dem handing out free stuff.

In this case, furthering the guaranteed checks to colleges that are driving up costs for other students and driving down the quality of education.

Meanwhile, the opposition in her state seem to be asking reasonable questions like:
-Where is the money for this going to come from?
-Can we at least ask the students to do some community service or something for the free education?
-Can we ensure the students then stay in New Mexico or are we just giving out free educations to anyone?

I'm a big fan of cheap college education. I wouldn't go for free, but I'd err on the side of giving education to the people to make society better. It always worked for me in SimCity.

No. Asking the guy that worked a full time job by day to pay for trade school at night so he could earn a living as a plumber, or HVAC guy, or welder does NOT owe anyone their education except his kids. Why should he be saddled with the lesbian dance theory degree for the Starbucks barista? That's immoral. Hell to the no.

Edit to say: If you want to give a tax break to the guy that doesn't get a college degree, then I'm open to that. Otherwise I'm a hard "no".

I agree with the theory of giving people more education (if they want/need it). Even for free if possible. The problem is we're fucking broke and still spending money we don't have. This can't go on forever.

I also, as you all know, don't believe everyone needs more education nor do I think the quality of education we're giving people is very good. I mean, according to Catt's recent post elsewhere Dems have a higher rate of education. Yet for some reason their education hasn't taught them anything about finance or the history of socialism.
