Manziel said he was a college kid and going to do what normal college kids do despite his status as the first freshman to win the Heisman.

"I'm still going to live my life to the fullest," Manziel said.

Sounds like he's admitting he's doing something wrong right there.

EA loses what is hopefully the first of many exclusivity agreements.

College Footbal 15 featuring The State School of Ohio! A university somewhere in Michigan! A school named after the state of Alabama!

Actually, if you read the article, only the NCAA portion is prevented. Schools license their own names/logos.

The schools and conferences can be in it, yes, but that's a whole lot of negotiating.

I assume Notre Dame won't sign any deal unless they win all simulated games.

No, they already do that negotiating. It's already being done today. It's not a change for the schools/conferences, just the NCAA is removing it's logo and name.

I bet the NCAA was the only one doing an exclusivity deal, and the individual schools most likely license any reasonably well-known developers.

So they've got the individual organization members, but not the organization itself?

Unless the schools start to follow NCAAs lead on this, then yes. Depends on if the former players start to sue the schools or not.

I'd say that finding stupid college students is unfair ... but ... I don't know how to finish that. How much more incentive do you need to maintain a decent image?

TCU coach takes a shot at LSU.

Rightfully so too.

The player in question, Hill, is their star running back and was arrested and convicted for assault. He faces no suspension whatsoever.

Way to send a message to your players coach Miles.

The NCAA hates the military.

Well, not really, but potential headlines like that are why I expect this will be resolved quickly and properly.

Yeah, that had to be reversed, especially since it used to be the rule. Good call, NCAA

Oklahoma State is next on the hit parade.

Thank goodness Les Miles is the SEC now or he would have faced a potentially serious punishment.

Given the amt of money that was flying around OSU due to the oil/gas booms, I'm not surprised. They had Boone Pickens buying them a new stadium and work our/athletic facility, etc.
