I hope they kill each other on the field. That's win-win for me. :D

I was thinking this morning about Haskins. You know where he might work best? New England and Belichick's no nonsense approach.

Hey, you know how the Steelers' offense woke up after halftime against the Colts?

It's being reported among Steelers media that the Colts were calling out the Steelers' plays in the first half. Thus, BB just called the second half himself. Our O coordinator had nothing to do with it.

Let me beat Catt to it:
"Tomlin is so great, he actually empowers the players to be better coaches than the people on his staff!"

I was wondering about that as well. But I don't think Haskins has it in him. Washed up.

It takes a giant to raise others on their shoulders.

My J E T S / UGA fan friend is very sad about losing the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes and having to settle for Fields, who is terrible.

Tell him to stop rooting for terrible teams.

RIght?

NFC East is about to make history.
The three teams still alive in the NFC East race all started the season 2-7, which is notable, because no team has ever made the playoffs in a year where they came out of the gate with a 2-7 record. Since the Super Bowl era started in 1966, there have been a total of 258 teams that have started the season at 2-7 and none of them rebounded to make the postseason, which means NFL teams are a combined 0-for-258 in that situation. After Sunday, that record will improve to 1-for-263 (A total of five teams started 2-7 this season with the Texans and Chargers joining the three NFC East teams).
I find it a little odd that they didn't schedule all the NFC East games together. I feel like they normally do that when a division title is up for grabs. Instead we get Dal-NY at 1pm, WTFers-Eagles at 8:20pm

They flexed that on purpose. No idea why they went with the turds of the NFC EAST, but maybe because it's the most decisive game of the day?

The Dal-NY game winner doesn't mean anything until after that WTF-Phi game is over. The whole division hinges on that game, so I guess that makes it "must see"? Phi is eliminated already, the WTFers are down to a 4th string QB, and a losing team will win the division. Not sure that equals must see TV.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

Fitzmagic gets the virus :( I love watching that guy play. Guess the Fins don't have to wonder about who's starting. Well, unless all the QBs are held out...

Love Fitz, so this does suck. Based on how Tua has played, it probably means bad news for the Fins' playoff chances. Although, long term that might be a good thing as they're pretty young and will have a better draft pick.

Browns get some players back, but lose others.

They should still easily beat Pittsburgh this week. Steelers are sitting everyone.

NFLPA pres, a Brown, thinks 2020 proved the NFL doesn't need OTAs and as much practice.

1. You want to do even less for your millions? You're a fucking piece of shit. You get paid to play a game for a living. Shut the fuck up and work hard to earn that privilege.
2. Apparently, he was asleep during the first half of the season when teams really sucked, players were getting injured left and right, and the product wasn't up to prior levels.

I genuinely didn't know who JC Tretter was previously, but now I hate him.

Maybe the Bills will rest their players.

Stat to know: Washington has a minus-106 score differential in the first half this season (30th in NFL) and a plus-106 score differential in the second half (best in NFL). That 212-point gap in differentials between halves would be the largest by any team in the past 20 seasons.
How is it even possible to be that different between halves? What are they not doing in the 1st halves?

How smart is Tomlin to both ensure a better draft pick by losing, AND a worse draft pick for the Browns by letting them win? He's thinking three moves ahead, guys.

If the Browns figure out a way to lose to the Steelers today...oof. I don't understand how they're only up 1 in the 3rd.

Although, I will say that the Steelers are clearly doing different things with Rudolph and Dobbs today.

In other news, the Dolphins are going to dump Tua after this year aren't they? He has not looked good since that second game.

They need to get rid of this roughing the passer rule change. It's terrible.

Gase and Marone are gone tomorrow. Lynn should be too. Who else? All the temp guys?
