What I've learned about government in my lifetime is that there's an illegal tax, it will be called a fee.

Some of the debts were completely forgiven. Many more were promised to be forgiven, but held up in court. So there's some people who do already owe nothing, and others who will owe since the government no longer wants to pursue it in court.

Sometimes it amazes me how efficient and well run our government truly is...

I've been snarking for a while that the last 6 months of his term, Biden wasn't in charge, his staff was. I provided spurious examples without any proof that this or that situation could be explained by, "Their staff wanted it, got what they wanted, then gave up on it."

Now the "autosigning" thing has come out. I said at the time Biden's staff was selling pardons. This supports the conspiracy theory.

I vote that anyone Biden pardoned in the last six months (after he carefully considered that they've paid for their crimes and justice had been served, of course), whose name he can remember today, can stay pardoned.

And all extra snark aside, I'd like to see a court challenge. The court already said autosigning was legit, but I'd like to see if autosigning without the president's knowledge is legit. And if not, criminal trials for the people who usurped the president's authority, and PUT OUR ENTIRE DEMOCACY AT RISK.

This went viral today for very good reason and is worth watching. Bureaucratic red tape is choking this country to death. Too many hoops to jump through for anything. Too many departments creating additional steps just to pretend they have value.

Well I can see how shutting off that free money spigot would enrage many people and cause them to attack people's stuff.

Biden admin was lying about job numbers. It's from an opinion piece, so grain of salt, but does contain actual numbers based on government reports.

It's not hard to believe as we've seen this sort of thing before.

Strong agree. Glad the ruling wasn't about the law itself.

Google admitted today that Biden's admin pressured them to censure people over politics.

Google will be reinstating a bunch of accounts.

This is about a year after Meta went in front of Congress and admitted the same.

Feels like this should be the top story at every news outlet, but Biden's skin isn't orange enough apparently.

People who spread election disinformation should have been hung, or otherwise killed, for treason and not reinstated.
