The commentators were talking about #65 getting pushed back, but I didn't see that. The QB just ran straight into dat ass.

Slightly lol. Not nearly as lol as that list was, though, and I don't even know who any of those people are.

Tebow gone. Vince Young gone.

The Pats cut Tebow but keep Gronk on the roster. Sweet.

Heard they wanted to keep Tebow but couldn't justify it. I can't believe Young got cut. A week ago they cut their other backup all but assuring him of the job.

Guess they heard Tebow was available and wanted to make room :)

Fantasy football trade:

In one of my leagues, week 8 is going to kill me. Both my starting RBs and my best 2 WRs have byes then. I'd like to add that one of those starters is crap & I'd like to unload him plus 1 of the aforementioned WRs for a starting RB. I have the chance to kill two birds with one stone.

Brian Hartline + Ahmad Bradshaw
... to me in exchange for ...
Wes Welker + Ben Jarvus Green Ellis (the crap RB).

This is not a PPR or keeper league, there aren't any starting RBs on waivers, and I only got . I might be able to get my hands on Bradshaw's handcuff/co-RB, but I'm assuming Ahmad gets the lion's share plus goal line carries. I expect the law firm to platoon with or lose his job to the rookie RB Giovanni Bernard. Thoughts?

Hartline won't have the year Welker is going to have by a long shot.

However, the lawyer is barely the starter, but Ahmad is playing in a passing offense...

The value of the trade hinges on my bye week disentanglement. I got 8 weeks before that bites me in the ass, but got some big RB issues to sort out. My only currency is WRs.

I think that draft is completely fucked because:
1. League is only 2-3 years old.
2. Second season of auctioning.
3. Fucking $250 as opposed to $100 just because people "want bigger numbers."
4. 12 teams

Result: Huge run on RBs/WRs such that top tier dudes go for way more than they should. You want to stay out of that shitstorm, but you know you can't compete without at least two standout dudes because of the craptacular limit of 20 claims for the season. Can't afford to roll the dice on 3-4 nobody RBs/WRs a week to see if one pans out. You've got no incentive to have cash left after the auction is done. Dudes are stingy as fuck on trades, too.

Bonus: Pretty much everyone said, "I fucked up my draft," after the auction.

Got a day or so to mull it over.

Some dumb-ass dropped Marcel Reece, so when Run DMC gets his annual injury, I'm good. Dropped the ultra crap RB for him. Leaves me with Ray Rice/Law Firm and Welker/Demaryius Thomas on bye in week 8. Got to split those.

McFadden may be the only RB I can think of that's spent more time hurt than Fred Taylor.

Warren Sapp on a fuckload of drugs.
"The second year won't be a sophomore slump for Ryan Tannehill," Sapp said. "He will break Dan Marino's (mark) of 5,084 yards. That's right ... he's gonna break it."

Warren Sapp is a moron.

As for Cooper and the Eagles, his teammate is apparently a dick. Not defending Cooper's tirade, but that shit was eons ago and did you see who came to Cooper's defense? His black teammates, including Vick who seemed VERY agitated.

I think he's got more to apologize for because he was at a Kenny Chesney concert.

Gronk out for the season's start? All this because his ass couldn't sit out and let his injury heal properly. Would certainly help if my keeper league chances if he were going to miss the first few games.
1) Flaccid Flacco is back, baby.

2) I suppose Gronk being reckless was what let me get him on the cheap this year. Grapevine says he's back by week 3.

Christ on a crutch. First 7 TD pass game in 44 years. Nice that four of them belong to dudes on my teams (Welker double counting). Glad I sat Baltimore's D.

In one of my leagues I had the fourth overall pick (12 team league) and took Marshawn Lynch. I figured I'd grab another RB1 in round 2.

But guess who fell to me in round 2? Peyton.

Woohoo!
