Bruce Wayne does not have a Welsh lisp. In any Batman universe. Anywhere. Ever. He sounds like he has a fucking cleft palate.

My "reasonable explanation" was that everybody knows Bruce Wayne, and everybody would recognize his voice. He has to disguise it. Everyone knows he is disguising it. He knows everybody knows he is disguising it. He doesn't care. I guess other easy alternatives would be a falsetto or perhaps a Jerry Lewis/wacky voice. Perhaps a Texan drawl, that would throw everyone off the scent.

I think getting stuck on the voice is silly.

It sounds like Sylvester the cat broke into the Batcave and jacked his shit.

Batnipples.

Those were a thing.

Given that, I have no problems with the voice.

All those toys and he couldn't come up with a voice modulator?

New documentary coming about original Justice League movie.

It was going to be directed by the guy who directed the new Mad Max movie.

Good thing they dodged that bullet.

When I heard Affleck was going to play Batman, I was totally like, "Didn't he already do that?" And then I remembered, no it was George Clooney.

They're both that forgettable.

Cave Johnson to play Commissioner Gordon.

I love JK and he'll do great, but I'd prefer he remain J. Jonah.

Plus, more Cave Johnson!

DC/WB suits are still dumber than shit.
Warners and DC have learned from the (relative) failure of BvS and that Justice League will be a movie far more in tune with what its target audience — genre-friendly readers of the afore-mentioned sites, A.K.A. "the people that go to all the Marvel movies" — wants to see.

Each site is sharing details of a finished scene between Bruce Wayne and Barry Allen that — gasp! — has jokes in it

I bet a dollar those jokes are akin to slapstick, because the suits still don't know what the audiences want.

Agreed, they'll probably fit right into the comedic paradigm that leads to JarJar being considered the height of humor.

They'll never reach McBain level.

This actually looks pretty good, though I say that not knowing how bad they will murder the characters and how much you all will loath it.

Heh... not sure what they're doing with the Barry Allen character, but he made me laugh.

MUCH better than the trailers for BvS. The Barry Allen stuff really made the whole trailer. The Aquaman stuff...well, we'll see. I also love that they basically ignored Cyborg because he sucks.

And where was Supes?

Looks like they might have been paying attention to the feedback. Or at least the marketing department was.
