I like that we picked up Landry Jones, but we'll regret letting the Ravens get John Simon.

What do you think of Bell?

Well, I've watched him play for 4 years, and he's a good back. He's no AP, but he'll be a solid passing down back. Kind of like Mewelde Moore.

Kluwe out?

I'd bet he has a very slim shot of "winning" the job, mainly because of how outspoken he is in social media.

Big "Ten" realigns.
The East division will be Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Rutgers. The West division will be Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin.
That West is a joke.

I have no idea what they're thinking putting OSU and Michigan in the same division.
If I was aligning the conference I'd break them up based on their traditional "strength":
OSU Michigan
Penn St Nebraska
Wisc Mich St
Purdue Iowa
Northwestern Rutgers
Maryland Indiana
Illinois Minnesota
Now move teams sharing the same line back and forth for rivalries, and allow for special matchups, like OSU-Mich every year or Mich-Mich St if they ended up in different conferences, and call it a day.
How can you setup a system where of all the potential matchups that could happen twice in one year, you ensure OSU-Mich isn't it? Because that game NEVER gets good ratings and national exposure...
And maybe that's the problem. They might be worried that it would come down to OSU-Mich playing twice every year.

From everything I have read it was mich and osu that pretty much said we are in the same division. The system before had you playing certain teams in the opposite division every year and then rotating the others. So if mich and osu are in separate divisions they will still always play each other. Allowing for ups and downs that happen mich will always have to play either the best or second best team in the conference in osu and osu will have to do that same with mich. While msu, neb, wis will end up getting to always play the ind, purdue, ill of the world.
The old system made mich and osu's cross conference schedules much harder then everyone elses.

I can't imagine a world where there is a season where MI doesn't play OH.

Kluwe’s outspoken ways on everything from gay rights to former punter Ray Guy not being in the Hall of Fame wore thin with special teams coordinator Mike Priefer.
“I don’t even want to talk about that,” Priefer said last year after Kluwe put athletic tape over the Hall of Fame emblem on his jersey and wrote “Vote Ray Guy” on it, an action that drew a fine from the NFL.
“Those distractions are getting old for me, to be quite honest with you,” Priefer continued. “Do I think Ray Guy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame? Absolutely. But there’s other ways about going about doing it, in my opinion.”
Yeah, I couldn't even focus on that game, with Kluwe standing on the sidelines for most of it, wearing his emblem and distracting everyone from the game of football ... by bringing attention to a disparity in the game of football.

Didn't one of the union heads get dumped by his team two years ago (?) and not get picked up by anyone despite being a starter?
Don't discount potential collusion in the NFL, nor should you discount teams simply not wanting a potential distraction...especially as a punter.

They're punters for fuck's sake. Give them something to do for the 55:00 they're not on the field.
