But would anyone believe it? It is interesting that I'm not seeing "what we know about the shooter" articles. Maybe it's too soon?
If that picture is legit combined with the fact that he used a handgun and this equals something they're going to have trouble politicizing.
"Credible" CNN's front page looks like Ministry of Truth approved propaganda and there's no doubt what they're trying to push.
I would like someone pushing for stricter gun control in the wake of this shooting, when nothing is known yet about where the gun came from, to explain how stricter laws would have stopped it. There are more guns in the U.S. than people. This happened in a "Gun Free Zone". Murder is illegal. Drugs are illegal, but are easily obtained everywhere. What is more legislation going to do aside from punish law abiding citizens?
And I type that as a person who does believe we need to improve gun control laws. However, I'm also smart enough to know gun control laws are basically like the "ADT" sign some people put outside their home even though they don't have an alarm. It's going to be effective for some, but not all.
