I just posted that story as it reminded me that people think he's a dick.

The talk in the Big Ten is that he's a complete asshole. I've heard stories about him threatening multiple people with lawsuits, the other coaches don't like him, he left his old school in a really shitty way, etc.

I guess to be successful in Indiana, you need to be something of an asshole...

On a different note, I was thinking about that most hated college player thing, and had a funny thought: "I'll bet Michael Jordan feels slighted for being left off that list."

Awww, I like Izzo.

Helps that my wife went to MSU, though. He honestly seems like a decent guy to me. No Coach K.

I've heard Izzo is an ass, but like Knight, he's well respected.

Jets sign yet another QB.

That puts 6 on their roster.

They should just fold the franchise.

You might be able to Voltron them all into one QB.

I think you just wrote an episode of South Park.

I think they'll leave the Jets alone, they already did this for lampooning football.

Hey Catt, did you see the finals of that "Most Hated Player" bracket?

Hats off to Laettner for having a sense of humor about it.

Easily the stupidest rule I've ever seen proposed, and I'm inclined to agree with the guy who says it's a ruse to protect them from lawsuits.

I do not know for whom to vote.

But Laettner is clearly the worst. Don't give Dook it's own bracket, and it's a Dook-only Sweet 16.

Leaked NFL uniforms?

I HIGHLY doubt it. NFL teams do their own re-branding and designs.

I could see it as a single day promotion by their uniform sponsor, ala what Oregon and Nike do, but it's more likely to be some artist or designer's vision for uniforms.

There are some solid ones in there, and some not so solid.

With all the trades flying around the NFL, a couple have affected my keepers next season so I've now got 5 legit choices for 4 keeper slots:

Russell Wilson QB Seattle ... cheap, have to keep
Rashard Mendenhall RB Arizona ... cheap
Wes Welker WR Denver ... $14
Marshawn Lynch RB Seattle ... cheap, have to keep
Michael Crabtree WR Frisco ... $17

Passed. Tuck rule has been rescinded.

EDIT: Rescinded over the Steelers whining.
Rooney said the Steelers were the only team to vote against getting rid of the tuck rule.

The rule about offense players leading is going to lead to lots of flags, and hurt players.

Don't discount what a negative impact this is going to have on your fantasy football teams either.

Why is that "whining"? You'll have to explain the logic there.

Is it odd that the Steelers would vote to keep a rule they got fucked on this year, and one that really should be called "The Tom Brady Rule".

You'll notice Tom Brady's team voted to get rid of it. Why the hell would Pittsburgh vote to keep it?

Yeah, I think I'll leave him behind. Will be interesting to see how much of a slot machine Welker can still be in the 2-WR world of Denver. Of course, considering that NE's offense has half a dozen WRs and he's been producing pretty well, I probably shouldn't be worried. Was totally going to cut him or use him as trade bait before. This makes this more interesting.

Again, how is that "whining"?

Actually, it appears the Pats abstained in their voting.

In reality, I was going to put "disagreement" instead of "whining." But I knew one would annoy you more.
