How about 14 penalties? who's fault is that? You said yourself that its Tomlins fault for the lack of discipline on the Steelers. Same story here, i'd say Hue even has a lack of self discipline when he goes for it in close games.
I don't disagree, but give the man a chance. This is the first year he hasn't had a steaming pile of shit to work with.

Also, he's not getting fired during the year unless something crazy drastic happens.

NFC East is not out of reach for anyone but the Giants. Wish the Redskins could make a move.

Hey Stranger, I hear Hue is going to take over play calling. Based upon some of the criticism I've seen, perhaps that's warranted. Same shit people in Pittsburgh used to say about Haley. However, him stepping up like that puts himself farther into the limelight, and thus, increasing odds of him being fired.

In kneeling news, the arbitrator in Reid's case against the Bengals ruled against Reid.

That's going to hurt Kaep's case against the NFL.

NFL admits they missed the Baker call.

Hue backtracked on his statement in yesterday's press conference. And to Hue's credit, he never directly said he was going to take over the play calling, just that he was going to do whatever necessary to fix the offense.

Let be honest here, Hue's a deadman walking. There is no way he survives this season and if he's going to go down why wouldn't he want to do it his way? His best ability is to call plays, nothing else. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point Hue does take over the play calling.

But to that point. i still like Haley calling plays more than Hue.

Nobody can forget the flea flicker from his own end zone with RG3 two years ago. Who the hell calls that play??

I thought Haley's offense was way too predictable in Pittsburgh. On the latest Simmons podcast he had been watching the Browns game and said, "I shouldn't be able to sit on my couch and predict what plays you're going to run." He's right. Again, Haley was so predictable that I could usually call most of his plays when he was the O coordinator in Pittsburgh.

A guy who was given, literally, zero chance to win for two years, and figured "fuck it"?

I've heard the Haslams really like Hue as a person. Between that, and the fact that they have to know they sabotaged the shit out of him the first two years, there's why I think he's lasting the whole season no matter what. (Plus, I've also heard that rumor somewhere.)

Gruden might be losing the locker room.

Sounds like he doesn't care either.

He's thrown away this season. That's easier to take as a coach than a player, imho.

John Norman goes after Ed Reid.

I've heard Reid and Kaep, and have seen what they've done.

I've heard Jenkins and Norman, and have seen what they've done.

Jenkins and Norman win, and it's not even close.

Wow, that was a horrendous call. Not only was it defensive pass interference, but Hopkins barely touched him in return.

The rules regarding PI have been broken for years now. Too much is in the offense's favor.

It does crack me up to see shit like this get flagged, yet professional push off artists have endured for years with no flags.

My team just needs a TD to win... FG.

My team just needs a 1st down to win... Punt.

My team has a great FG opportunity... misses.

My team gets the ball back with ~1 minute left.... 3 + out to give the other team a chance for a drive.

Skins won. But yeah, a knock on Smith has always been that he doesn't throw deep a lot. He likes short routes.

Steelers had a bye week. Should be interesting in Cleveland this week. If Hue isn't fired after that loss, I don't think he gets fired until after the season. Who will Cleveland fans blame if they continue to lose after Hue is gone?

Thank you Panthers for destroying the Ravens.

Watching the Bucs try to beat the Bengals. Andy Dalton looks like such a dick.
