I think Cleveland got fucked badly on a call that cost them a TD.

Maybe Stranger will have a gif of it or something.

Hilarious.

All I want for Christmas is Mike Tomlin and the entire staff to be fired.

I missed some new NFL scoring rules this year.

After seeing a highlight, I think they got fucked on two big plays.

Why is that box score showing a safety?

Yeah, that's ESPN right now. (maybe fixed by the time you click) http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=401030933

That was just a normal kickoff touchback.

But I also like the 1 pt FG

Yeah... karma?

You do have to appreciate the effort the Steelers are making to let the Browns feel better about themselves. 3rd place in the division 4 games in, when was the last time that happened?

Here are the calls the Browns got fucked on.

The only thing that could save them is good coaching, and that's not happening.

So the Steelers ownership needs to take a long look at itself during this season and decide if they want to be mediocre by holding onto a head coach who is clearly in way over his head or if they want to compete.

Fire Tomlin.

Your fan base is screaming for it. All of your minority owners asked for it. The media has been turning on him. The locker room is out of control, which goes against the ultimatum you put on him. Your defensive roster is dogshit right now outside of the D line. Enough is enough.

This is Tomlin's team and staff. Everyone except Ben is gone from Cowher's tenure. This is now all Tomlin. Gone is Dick Lebeau and the 3-4. This is the Tampa 2 defense Tomlin wanted when he was hired. It's been around forever, and it's easy to beat even when you have awesome players.

That's the other problem. Tomlin and his staff suck at evaluating talent. The best players they've gotten out of the draft in recent years were Colbert's (our GM) picks, not Tomlin's.

Fire Tomlin.

Let's talk about Bell. If I'm the Jets, who desperately need a RB and have the cap space, I'd offer the Steelers a third rounder with conditions. The Steelers will get a third round compensatory pick if Bell leaves in free agency. Thus, offering them that pick, which would be higher up, plus saving them the money they'd pay for Bell is a good deal. Additionally, IF he signs with the Jets, then the 3rd rounder becomes a first or they throw in a second rounder. Something like that.

How do the Steelers turn that down?

Bell's coming back to the Steelers.... in 2 weeks.
The primary reason he's sitting: Bell's $70-million offer from Pittsburgh over the summer contained $17 million in guarantees. That wasn't enough when Todd Gurley and David Johnson received at least twice that in guarantees.
First time I've heard the part about guaranteed money. Can kinda understand that.

Me too.

I can also understand why the team wouldn't want to hand him guaranteed money. He's been suspended for marijuana once, and the second means 1 year. He was suspended for another incident for 4 games a different year. He has never played a full season due to suspension and/or injury.

I feel like they could handle the behavior part canceling guarantees (suspensions/pot/etc) in the contract.

You would think so, but perhaps that's the part being left out. Maybe the Steelers have put that on the table and Bell has rejected it?

10 team fantasy league. My team is 9th in total points. But I'm 3-1, cuz somehow I've outscored my opponents by an average of 12 points per game.

My opponents' average of 83 ppg is 21 points below the next lowest average, and 44.25 below the highest average.

I have a feeling this will catch up to me soon.

Even better. Malcolm's in my league and was 2nd in points this week, and lost to #1.

Kickoffs responsible for a huge percentage of concussions. Within the next few years, I'll bet we see them gone from the game.

What's his team name? "I'm so self-absorbed that I don't think laws should apply to me."?

I wouldn't be surprised either. They've already done a lot to neuter them. And, despite what those people who want the 70s back say, those days are never coming back, and shouldn't come back.
