Speak the language of your audience, unlike what the NFL is doing right now.
I understood it as: We're removing ourselves from this situation in order to focus on, you know, FOOTBALL.
Wow. It always amazes me how people can say or type something like that and think there won't be consequences.
Well here's the thing about that... It doesn't sell papers or get clicks. The Browns walked out in unity with cops, military, fire fighters, etc. the first week of the season INSTEAD of taking a knee, which they had done the week prior. Everyone LOVED it, you know, except for the MSM who barely covered it.
If only Fox News had covered it, then Trump would have thought all the teams were doing it.Leisher wrote:

Unity isn't good for business. Not for selling papers. Not for getting you to watch a show. And certainly not for distracting you while your government corn holes you.
Is he on record as saying that's the only place he gets his news? Seriously?
He then went on to post 4-5 videos of fans from different teams burning their gear. All are either over or near retirement age. Not that it matters, but it's an interesting observation.Where's all the videos of NFL football fans destroying their fan items??
Everyone of you that DON'T are no better than the players that show disrespect for MY flag and country.
YOU disgust me!!!
I may have exaggerated some of that.“Your desire to focus on division and anger has shattered what many people loved most about the sport,” she wrote. “Football was really a metaphor for our ideal world — different backgrounds, talents, political beliefs and histories as one big team with one big goal — to do well, to win, TOGETHER.”
"But you fucked it all up and now people think you are spoiled fucking babies."
I don't watch Fox, but I know I heard the audio from the Patriots game and you could hear it. Also with the Dallas game. I don't think it's nefarious for them not to show it. I don't think it's bad business to not show people that are expressing disapproval of your brand.
Maybe he should read the rules.
