Hey, yeah..... can deaf people not do spelling bees? Yeah there's sign languange, but for the uncommon words they typically get signed out letter by letter.

I think I may be offended, spelling bees are ableist.

I was going to say "braille" but that's a one-for-one mapping with letters. Phonetic braille?

Braille is for the blind.... blind peeps can still hear the words spoken in a bee.... so maybe just phonetic spellings of words?

I bet google would answer this question if I wasn't so lazy.

I know it's for the blind, but touch is about the only other sense I can think to utilize for communication if sight (unless you somehow scramble or mask the actual letters) and hearing are off the table. You sure as shit aren't tasting or smelling a word.

But I'm saying why skip over the basic phonetic spelling and go right for braille.

Do languages with more regular spelling (e.g., German, Spanish) even have spelling bees?

Germans? I doubt it. They just take lots of existing words and stitch them together whenever they need a new one.

No, everything's phonetic. The pinnacle of English would be if we could get to a place where we couldn't have spelling bees.

White people stop droughts?
Mugabe is a special type of individual that hearkens back to a simpler, stupider time. He's strictly a thug and has talent for absolutely nothing else. Case in point: rainy season in Zimbabwe is typically November to March. If one had half a brain, one would build up infrastructure to store excess water and food and efficiently utilize it during those months when it's drier than a nun's cunt, say by investing in modern irrigation systems, farming equipment, and storage facilities. Robbie would rather spend cash on assorted military equipment and efforts to dig more carbon out of the ground. I guarantee he'll keep foreigners in there until it's politically expedient to kick them out and confiscate all their shit at the door. He'll then turn control of their endeavours over to incompetent warlords who will run it into the ground all over again.
