I wouldn't blame him if he walked away. The Steelers are the Ebby Calvin LaLoosh of the NFL. "A million dollar arm with a ten cent brain."

Translation: We have great players, but terrible coaching.

They're painted into a corner there and Ben knows it. They kept Noll and Cowher so long that firing a black coach isn't going to look good. Especially when you take the Rooney Rule into account.

Ben has been very outspoken about the lack of discipline and accountability in the organization and that's all on Tomlin.

Until Tomlin is gone, the Steelers won't win another Super Bowl. He's too loose. Too much of a friend and not a boss/coach. And he sucks at the Xs and Os.

Another season of Kirk Cousins.
When asked whether he expects quarterback Kirk Cousins to return to the team during the offseason, either through another franchise tag or a massive deal, Gruden was definitive.

"We fully anticipate Kirk coming back," Gruden said Tuesday, per the Washington Post's Mike Jones.
Gurley rips Rams offense.
Gurley made news in December, describing the Rams' attack as a "middle school offense" in the wake of back-to-back lopsided losses that led directly to the firing of coach Jeff Fisher.

Provided a forum to explain that criticism, Gurley clarified that he was speaking strictly of the players rather than the coaching staff.

Bradford gets a reprieve.
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole provided the latest details on Bridgewater's status Friday, including an updated timetable that wouldn't see the QB back to full strength until March 2018
Fuck you, football gods.

Today, in bizarro NFL land...

Melvin Gordon thinks some San Diego fans are still pulling for the Chargers in LA.
"I don't think we're going to lose everyone in San Diego," Gordon told ESPN's James Walker on Friday. "I really don't think of it like that. I just think of it as we're on a break -- like a relationship. You know? But she'll be back and we will be back. We will be back together. That's how I look at it."
Cardinals hire a QB coach who, during his prime playing days, wasn't as good as their current QB is now.
Cardinals gunslinger Carson Palmer was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2003 NFL Draft ... just six spots in front of his new quarterbacks coach: Byron Leftwich.

Or maybe not.
Could he miss all of 2017? Yes. Could he be ready for Week One? Yes. Could he return at some point in between? Yes.

Rex Ryan is totally over his firing.
"I don't wish them (the Bills) bad will," Ryan said, via the New York Daily News. "I don't. But I don't wish them luck, either. I'll be honest: I don't wish them good luck. I don't wish them bad luck. I just don't wish them luck. I wish the Jets luck."
Texans hire Wes Welker as assistant. Dude should've retired when NE let him go.

49ers hire John Lynch as GM.

And now, a moment with Lil Jon.
"If we win this Super Bowl, I think the parade is gonna be the most turnt, the most crunkest, the littest parade you have ever seen," said Lil Jon. "They gonna probably shut the city down for like a week. Ain't nobody going to work for like a week. We just gonna party for seven days. Might be two weeks. We might not even leave Houston. We might stay in Houston three or four days, and then we bring it back to Atlanta ... Ain't no party like an ATL party, baby."

I truly hope nobody shows up to their games.

Reports about the kind of man Tomlin really is are surfacing.

The ? Raiders.
The Raiders did it again: They broke another city’s heart.

This is what they do. This is what they always do.

Right now, it doesn’t look like the Raiders are going to be heading to Las Vegas.

And Oakland doesn’t seem to want to pony up any money to keep them.

And Los Angeles can’t take on another team.

And San Diego? It can’t afford them.

The Raiders are stuck in limbo, and it’s not surprising when you take a close look at that franchise.

Indianapolis' kicker is retiring.

Antonio Brown made a video to remember him.

I wouldn't be shocked if there are already plans underway to rid the NFL of Mark Davis. From what I understand the Raiders are his money. That's not something you want from an owner. You want financial stability that doesn't rely upon the team. I could see the NFL taking the team from him and then getting the financial backing to get the move to Vegas back on or getting them a new deal in Oakland or SF.

If he knows him, funny.

If he doesn't, classless.

HoF class.
LaDainian Tomlinson was one of seven men named to the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class, which was revealed Saturday night at NFL Honors. Kurt Warner, Terrell Davis, Kenny Easley, Jason Taylor, Morten Andersen and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also were inducted.
Matt Ryan wins MVP.

Pats think Brady has another 3-5 in him.
