Winter sale probably starting on the 18th.

This won't be the "Black Friday" mediocre sale. This will be one of their four times a year and comes with activities and badges sale.

Get those wishlists updated.

I love this sale. Although I mostly just buy stuff I'll never play.

Same here. I have games from three years back I haven't gotten around to playing yet.

And still I will buy more when they hit 75% off.

I bought that Lich-Battlemage game for 70% off. FPS shooter craft your own magic or something. Fuck it.

My Steam Pile of Shame is quite large and I'm very proud of it.

Kid glanced at my Steam library the other day and asked, "What's LIMBO?"

I don't know, kid. I don't know.

Limbo is one you can knock out in an evening and do it with the kid. It's very safe, and kind of cool. Definitely one you shouldn't skip.

How do you all sort your library?

I have:
Completed
Meh
Multi-Only

and then everything I haven't touched or am currently playing in the main group.

I don't sort anything... I mean, I guess it defaults to sorting alphabetically.

The Lich:Battlemage game was incredibly satisfying for the 30m I played. Seems like a first person Magicka with crafting.

I turned in some crappy emoticons and stuff I had for gems. I went to bid, and prices were insane. (relative to my 1k gems). I ended up trading them in for a pack of 3 cards. So I have a complete pack of Borderlands pre-sequel cards now. Yay?

I don't understand. Postal has been advertised in the store for the last few weeks. Do the close up kill shots really warrant not carrying this game over Postal?

I am really enjoying the comments I'm seeing about this game though. Peeps going off saying it shouldn't be released because kids will see it even though it's rated Mature. They're the same folks who want to ban guns and think it'll solve the problem of criminals getting them...

I watched the trailer. The whole time I'm thinking "No one in that crowd has a CC to take him out with?". This game is nothing but CCW propaganda.

The developer described Hatred as a reaction to a trend of political correctness in video games, and sought to make a game that eschewed politeness, colorfulness, and games as art. In this way, they also sought to make a game that recalled the industry's history as "a rebellious medium" and surface-level entertainment with no insertion of "any fake philosophy".
