I've heard Kelly's heart wasn't in it, and despite what he says publicly, the cupboard is bare in SF.

I wonder what college he'll go to...

Here's a NFL job nobody saw coming open: Gary Kubiak resigns due to his health.

I always kind of liked him.

This Redskins game feels like someone paid off the Giants to lose. The difference between first and second halves has been surprising.

So Chargers, 49ers, Broncos, Bills, and Jaguars all need coaches so far. Am I missing anyone? Usually there are 8.

Hue Jackson makes a wager about the Browns next season.

If they go 0-16, does he still have to do it?

He has two years remaining on a three-year, $22 million contract extension he signed with the Bengals in 2016. Although Jones' base salary was guaranteed in 2016, he has no such guarantees on the final two seasons of his contract, and the team would save $6.3 million against the salary cap if they part ways with him in the offseason.
He's also 33 years old.

I've heard a rumor about Marvin Lewis possibly retiring.

The Texans want to lose Saturday's playoff game.

I think it's a matter of their preferred QB still being in the head-knock protocol.

Manziel back in the news.

Jets clean house except for Bowles.

Has this ever worked? Don't they always just end up firing everyone in a year or two?

Texans to start rookie third string QB.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Cook will become the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era (since 1966) to start a playoff game without having a regular-season start on his résumé.
