Ah yeah. It'll be a bit. I was in one for about 10 years before we talked about it. It came down to the number of new owners that had to deal with the crappy decisions of their predecessors.

Remember that Osweiler contract?

Under the contract Osweiler signed in March, he received $21 million this year, and he’s due to make $16 million fully guaranteed in 2017.

No one will be trading for Osweiler’s contract as currently constructed. If he’s cut, his cap charge of $19 million would increase to $25 million.

Either way, the Texans owe him $16 million for next year. The only way to save any of that money would be to hope someone else signs him to a lower salary, with Houston getting a dollar-for-dollar credit.

Rams getting into Browns territory, maybe starting third QB this year if Goff can't pass the headwhack protocol.

I'm not sure. I saw a LOT of dropped passes last night. I also saw a QB scrambling a lot and a defense that gave up some big plays.

I don't think Cousins is perfect, but you could do a LOT worse and this QB draft is the worst that I can remember.

Did you watch the game? He was in PAIN every time he did anything. I'm glad I watched because there's no way I can start him in the championship next week. As for the ejection, that was justified, but he threw the punch after getting punched twice first.

Osweiller is possibly the worst free agent signing of all time? Or is it still Albert Haynesworth?

Albert had $41M guaranteed, which is insane for a defensive player. Brock is clocking in at just under $37M, and he's nowhere near the lazy dick Haynesworth was. Like I haven't seen him flat out give up and spike the ball or pull intentional grounding three times in a row because he didn't feel like playing.

To be fair, he's not completely wrong. The percentage of former football players affected by CTE is relatively low. Some guys get a ton of concussions and are fine like Aikman, while others get a few and have issues, like Seau. Why are some folks more vulnerable than others? They don't know yet.

Should he be worried about his health though? Yes.

I've heard insanely high %s of brain trauma. Not necessarily CTE, but enough that you'd call it impairment. People are not made biologically to smash their heads together, regardless of padding.

Apparently, the vast majority show signs, but suffering actual effects is less than 50%.

Regardless, this will either end ALL contact sports or people will be made to be responsible for their participation and the consequences. I'm betting the sports go on. Way too much money for people to walk away from.

The comments from the corners mean nothing. It's the comments from other Buckeyes that are concerning and should have Cleveland's GM nervous as well.

Sports have to adjust to the realities of science. Football helmets used to be made of leather before some genius figured out less head trauma = good. Showing signs of serious brain injury still isn't good.

Because SD's kicker felt bad and gave them an early Xmas present. Fuck knows they weren't winning any other way.
