The problem with developing games for the PC is PC users.

Apparently, half of us DARE to wait until a product goes on sale before buying it. The article actually blames the consumer! How about not charging stupid amounts of money for your games and shitty DLC?

The mountain of shame exists because of Steam sales and is the very thing currently driving the PC games industry. If it weren't for buying the games on sale, that 50% of buyers would probably have never bought those games at all. The PC games industry is thriving in large part because of those sales and that shame.

Shaun Prescott is an idiot.

If you play CS or watch stuff on Twitch, give this a look.

There's a nasty Twitch bot out there.

It can empty your Steam wallet among other things.

Steam Roulette breaks a lot. And it changed too much a while back, taking away most of the best options.

I've started using Steam Checklist instead.

Waiting for EA to come out with a new press release that says, "Oh yeah, we got that many."

I swear on all that is holy that my original post had the line: "I fully expect EA to come out tomorrow and say 'We have 101 million active accounts.'"

I read that wrong, at first. I thought it was $40 off. Not as great a deal as I initially thought.

It's still money I will be spending, so any discount is a discount.

Castle Crashers is a 4 player co-op side scroller. Very much like any fantasy rpgish arcade game you've ever played and lost quarters to. My wife and I had a BLAST playing it together on the Xbox.

It's a 1.50 on the steam sale. Not sure how it ports over to the PC but it was a blast in my living room.
