Gronk has punctured lung. Out for at least a week.

You might want to pick up Miami's D. Just sayin'.
The Jared Goff era is about to begin in Los Angeles after all.

The rookie quarterback and first-overall selection of the 2016 NFL Draft is set to start in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins, NFL Network's Michael Silver reported. ESPN first reported the news.
Vikes cut Walsh.

Remember how NFL ratings were down and people were blaming concussions and Kaep and the country falling out of love with football?

The election is over and ratings are back up.

If there's one thing 2016 has taught me, it's that the talking heads in the media, from politics to sports, don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

Although, that being said, credit to Cowherd who said months ago the election was the reason for the ratings dip and things would be normal once the election was over.

Pussy league: with 3 weeks to go, I'm 4-6. Amazingly, I'm only two games out of a playoff slot and I play that dude ahead of me this week. Bonus: Devonta Freeman is on bye for him, but Tyrell Williams (the only target in SD who isn't Antonio Gates) is on bye for me. On the flip side, he's got Brady and Martellus Bennet (getting Gronk's balls now) going against SF, which is going to hurt. That could easily be 50 points right there. I need to pick between Luck playing the Titans (who've been making opposing QBs throw a lot) or Rodgers at Washington. My QB-picking skills have sucked ass this year. Then I need to do the same at WR. It's a matter of Mike Wallace at Dallas or Kenny Britt playing the Fins. Instincts say Luck and 60 Minutes. Washington's secondary worries me and fuck only knows what Jared Goff's debut is going to look like and who he'll pick as his favourite target.

Hey Leisher, I wouldn't get too upset with the Steelers, they play the proverbial "get back on the wagon" team this Sunday. I fully expect after the 45-10 drubbing all will be good again in Steeler country. That division is a mess right now and I fully expect the Steelers to win it.

And after Ben wins his 10th game in First Energy Stadium he will be tied with Derek Anderson with the most wins by ANY QB in that stadium..

I'm half rooting for the Steelers to lose.

I'm done with Tomlin. I realize he has a Super Bowl win and another appearance, but he's definitely getting worse. We've got that Tampa 2 defense now after dumping Lebeau and it's one of the worst in the league. He skips Von Bell in the draft when Steeler nation was screaming for them to take him and instead selects Sean Taylor from a team that gave up 40+ points and big plays every game. On Sunday I heard Taylor's name once. I heard Von Bell's a ton of times. He has Big Ben, Bell, AB, and a bevy of other talented weapons yet they have trouble scoring. He's terrible against losing teams. Ben's called him and his staff out twice now in a month. Tomlin fired Bruce Arians who is proving to be a hell of a coach. The guy tried to trip a fucking player during a game!

I could go on with this list for a while. Long story short, there's no discipline or leadership from the coaches.

Tomlin is a great motivator when the team needs to be motivated, but the problem is his coaching abilities put the team into positions where they need to be motivated against Cleveland... I think he's a position coach who's out of his depth. He had success with Cowher's players and Cowher's coaches, but most of those guys are now gone.

In a ridiculously weak AFC, they need to win their division at this point to get into the playoffs. It's inexcusable.

If he wins the Super bowl or even gets past Belicheck I'll give him a pass, but 1 playoff win (one we stole) in 5 years doesn't equal him being elite. Not with the talent on this team.

Ah, Detroit.
Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy says he is proud of breaking former Penn State coach Joe Paterno's leg.

Levy played his college ball at Wisconsin and the Badgers were playing a home game against the Nittany Lions on Nov. 4, 2006, when Paterno, then 79-years old, broke his left leg and tore a knee ligament when two players ran into him on the sideline.

One of those players was Levy.

In a Men's Journal profile published this week, Levy said the incident was "my proudest moment in college."

Dear Panthers,

There are 4 quarters in every game. Please plan to play in all four in the future.

Sincerely,
A Fan

The NFL can't be happy with the coverage of his injury last night. He looked like a little kid who got hurt and his mom isn't around to console him.

Catt league: easy victory but I lost AJ.

Pussy league: Down 80-85 against a key opponent. We've both got two remaining players in tonight's game. He's got Kelley and Mason Crosby. I've got Davante Adams and Jordan Reed. In theory, that's a decent bet. Which means I'll probably lose by 2 points.

Davante Adams has the least amount of receiving yards on the night, and motherfucking Kelley got let through for a score. On top of it, Jordan Reed's about the only Redskin without a TD. Fuck.

How did the game end?

I have Reed too, but I'm playing Stranger and he had Davonte Adams. So a few similarities in our situation and Malcolm's.

I'm up 34 and my players are done. He's got Cooper and Janikowski tonight, so I'm far from having a safe lead.

I'd have more of a cushion, but he has the Vikings D who got two free TDs thanks to Carson Palmer's old ass.

Kelley ran in for two more scores.
