On the main Steam page and below the map picture, you should see Community's Choice.

There should also be a whitish-gray rectangle that says "Vote on the next set of games..."

Click that.

On a different note, has anyone clicked a game thinking, "That looks interesting" only to be told you already own it? It's happen to me a dozen times this weekend.

Front page:
Scroll down to Summer Adventure, and click on the big map.

Next screen: join a team.

The voting happens right below the map.

Nope, I've been voting whenever I remember to as usual, but didn't know to click and join a team until reading this thread and wasn't on a team yet.

Now I'm on Team Blue. You can know which one that is because that's the team to good to have any of y'all on it.

It's why I fired up Sins of a Solar Empire:Rebellion this weekend. Stomped 3 normal AIs in a 4 player FFA. Looks like there is a larger ship class now, but the game was over before I teched that high.

Team based 3v3/4v4 against Hard AI's would be good fun.

Other times I click a game, think it looks cool, but then i'm like "would I play it?" and then it just sits there in my cart and I don't checkout.

Considering that I've gotten around to playing less than 1/4 of the games I've bought, yes. That happens a lot.

I bought one game so far. State of Decay. Every time I look at a game, I consider how many games I haven't played and don't buy any. So, are there any games that are going to be multi-played now? That Solar Storm game, or whatever it is. That zombie game on a server game that Leisher mentioned? I'll buy something that is going to get played. But, I don't need any more single player games. I have about 1000 hours back logged right now. But I always have time to multi.

Anyone buy Planetary Annihilation at $17? Payday 2? Still want to finish the first one. Anything else?

It's about time for a few more games of PA. There have been a lot of patches since last I tried it.

Soon as I get home I'll whip up a completed set of Summer cards. That might do the trick.

I had earned 15 poins the day Pink won, and didn't get shit.

I own PA and have it installed. Ditto for Payday 2.

I've tried 7 Days to Die, and it seems to have a steep learning curve. Might be interesting to try with a group of us playing though. It's an alpha game though, so...

Not sure about the Solar games. Have to have Gordo and Troy talk on those.

I played the shit out of Sins of a Solar Empire for a while. Wanted to multi back then but no one else had it. Games would be long.

There have been 2 or 4 expansions since it was released, I bought 2 of them. Skipped the "Diplomacy" expansion because fuck diplomacy. At this point I would probably have to rebuy it to be on the same version as everyone else, if it ended up being a multi game.... and then people would play 2 multi games and be tired of it.

So I don't really want to buy it again just for that.

I recommend Game Dev Tycoon if it goes on deep sale again. It's sort of like playing a spreadsheet, but if you like that sort of thing it's enough fun for the sale price. Some amusing references for old-school gamers included.

Prison Architect seems to have potential, too. Nowhere near as awesome as Evil Genius, but good enough to enjoy if on sale. Again, if you like that sort of game.

The moment I saw there were teams I thought "People should organize and rig the contests... I don't have time for that crap though. I wonder how quickly they could organize and do it?"

When I saw the scores yesterday, it sure looked rigged.

Good for them.

I had noticed that things were clearly rigged, but I just assumed Valve did it. I didn't really consider the promotion as some sort of real competition, especially once the days came up clearly rigged. But I went along with it and didn't do my badge crafting and whatnot until Blue Day yesterday, thus increasing that trend.

It's interesting knowing what was really going on.

Looks like the truce is over, and the red team will be winning the rest of the days.

The whole concept is stupid.

Who spends the most money gets the prize? A very poor move by Valve.

I doubt they looked at it that way. They aren't that evil. They probably thought more about voting and commenting and the other activities that generate points. But in the end, yeah, spend money = make points. And random team assignment didn't really work out very well for balance, apparently.
