Its really a dangerous game they are playing though. If whatever QB is there at 2 turns out to be great, they can just hand in their letters of resignation.

Cowherd made a good point yesterday: Everyone mocked Washington when they traded 3 first rounders for RG3 and he was a bust for them. Yet somehow they've still won 2 division titles in the past 4 years after winning 1 in the previous 20.

The fact that nobody knows if Goff or Wentz will be good or which one should be first is pretty telling. Maybe Wentz is the next Manning, but he also might be the next Tim Couch.

Cleveland won't compete for a few years, so making smart moves now that have a higher chance of paying off versus high risk moves seems wise. Especially since we've seen what decent QBs do in a bad situation...they suck. Build your foundation and then shoot for the stars when you're standing on solid ground.

Don't waste the picks by letting hobos choose this time.

Eagles receive. 2016- #2 overall
2017- conditional 4th

Browns receive. 2016- #8, 3rd, 4th
2017- 1st
2018- 2nd

Pretty good haul to move down 6 spots.. Now I'd be happy if the Browns went and got Zeke from THE Ohio State

Speaking of Manziel, Nike dumped him too.

Speaking on behalf of sports fans everywhere, Philly can go fuck itself.

Edit: more I look at it, the more Cleveland needs to send the rams a fruit basket for upping the pick value.

Police said they have spoken to Crowley, interviewed several other witnesses and reviewed medical records. But they did not arrest Manziel and instead took the unusual step of asking the district attorney's office to present the case to a grand jury. Typically, the local grand jury hears only felony cases, according to ABC News 8.

A misdemeanor assault case carries a maximum punishment of one year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
Wonder what felony assault is.

Judge Barrington D. Parker said the cellphone destruction raised the stakes "from air in a football to compromising the integrity of a proceeding that the commissioner had convened."

"So why couldn't the commissioner suspend Mr. Brady for that conduct alone?" he asked. Parker added: "With all due respect, Mr. Brady's explanation of that made no sense whatsoever."
Eat a bag of dicks, Patriots.
Bradford, who re-signed with the Eagles earlier this offseason, "is mad and wants to show everyone who's best," a source told Schefter last week.
...
The Philadelphia Eagles have been informed that quarterback Sam Bradford wants to be traded and will not be showing up for their offseason program any longer, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
That's the way you prove you're the best ... requesting a trade and refusing to show up and perform.
