Stranger wrote:Not gonna lie, this was the best performance of the Super Bowl. Not since Whitney Houston have I heard the National Anthem sung so well. When I saw it was Lady Gaga I immediately thought it was going to be a trainwreck, but props to her she sang it well.
“Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime Show was a tribute to Black History,” tweets Eeryn F. Lubicich.
You have idiocy like this.
"I think it was outrageous," Giuliani said on Fox News Monday. "The halftime show I thought was ridiculous anyway. I don't know what the heck it was. A bunch of people bouncing around and all strange things. It was terrible."
Then there are professional assholes like that which force me to side with the former group.

I'm going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight, Tracy, I promise you that.
Tool.
Are you calling me a tool?
Pretty sure Malcolm was referencing Peyton's Bud comment.
Did anyone else see his brother's face after the late Denver TD sealed the game? How more people aren't making a thing of this, I don't know. His whole family was cheering and smiling and Eli stood there staring at the camera like someone killed his dog.
Yeah I did, that was HILARIOUS

If you went on TV to plug Clydesdale piss after winning the Super Bowl, then yes.
Yeah I did, that was HILARIOUS
I could see him thinking, "Motherfucker, the ONLY fucking statistic I had over him."
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who was booed during pregame ceremonies honoring past Super Bowl MVPs, said in a radio interview before the game that he doesn't consider himself one of the game's all-time greatest players at his position.
Asked by host Jim Gray of Westwood One Radio about his place among the game's best, Brady said, "That is a helluva question and I wouldn't put myself in there.
Lying piece of shit.

He couldn't retire on camera because it would have taken away from his teammates and he didn't want that.
Say what you want about Peyton, but the guy is a good teammate.

Na - Peyton for making a million bucks or whatever by dropping the Budweiser mention.
And yeah - I couldn't tell if Eli was being stoic in a "it's not over until it's 00:00" way, or what the fuck that was about. There are montages all over the internet of his stranger faces, though.
No, mathematically it was over. Carolina could have returned a failed 1- or 2-point attempt for a couple of their own and they're still not pulling out a miracle the way Cam and Denver's D were playing.
Even if you're of the "not until 00:00" club, come the fuck on. It's 95% likely to be the final nail in your opponent's coffin. Fuck sportsmanship, fuck composure, fuck professionalism, you fucking scored. Crack a smile or look remotely excited. Anything besides the "I couldn't beat the condom clock" Costanza look.

Before seeing that video, though, I literally had no idea Cooper Manning existed.
“Johnny Manziel, going into what would have been a start late in the season, showed up drunk at practice on a Wednesday. The Browns lied and said he was in the concussion protocol. Let me repeat that: The Browns lied, to try to protect, and I would argue enable, this irresponsible and very troubled young man,” Mike Silver said on the air on NFL Network.
As PFT pointed out at the time, there’s always been something very fishy about Manziel’s Week 17 concussion diagnosis.
