They definitely were the other day. Florida then imposed a 10-person max grouping or something and closed restaurants + bars. Haven't seen pictures since.

The other day I mentioned Toledo, Ohio had 4-5 major hospitals. I stopped to actually think about it.... I can think of at least 8 major hospitals. Is that a lot for a city of 300k?

Sure, but doesn't an amended contract still require many hours of amendment, and notarization? This is no small feat for a hundred million contracts, unless they're just going to make a law that says, "Whatever the current contract says, add 60 days."

Quick googling says that there are 10 hospitals in town for one particular network, and we have two major networks in town. Then there will be the private hospitals.
I guess it helps that Promedica is HQd here?

I don't think we will be going through re-fi levels of documentation. Seems a single page amendment that gets esigned would be sufficient. But I'm no mortgage lawyer.

Big 3 auto manufacturers just shut down due to the coronavirus. I know the UAW had previously asked them to, and I'm hearing the government might have been involved in this.
That's pretty huge.
Also, the Florida governor officially cancelled all events in that state, and now the Marriott is honoring the force majeure of that contract I posted earlier. Nice to see corporations will play nice...when they're forced...

Not like anyone is going to buy a car right now. TSLA is also shutdown, iirc.

Day 2 of real quarantine for us. Can't count the days before I stopped standing in line at stores and supermarkets. Some low % of a chance we have it based on the cases in Contra Costa County and our heavy use of public transportation.
Legal cases are almost entirely on hold which frees me up considerably. Massive changes for retail and online clothing stores means Cat is now working 12 hours a day at home like a machine.
Been bored, mostly had time to plant new sages, strawberries, and some small trees around the garden.
I'm going to take a gamble on ordering some sanitizer spray + soap from an Etzy seller. The seller existed a few years before the pandemic so I figured it is worth a shot.

This is big news, really effects my work place. As i said earlier in this thread, we have gotten but maybe 10% of our shipments from China and most of the companies we support are suppliers for the Big 3.
Our rebuild division has already been shut down because most factories aren't letting outside workers into their plants so our company's income has basically been cut in half. With the Big 3 shutting down their suppliers will surly follow and then probably us too..

I believe it, and I won't get my hopes up to actually get to taste them.
They aren't crop grade strawberries, just a local native beach groundcover variety - Fragaria chiloensis - I wanted to plant them on our french drain line for the blooms and native bug benefits.
