The general that turns his brigade around and drives it toward Moscow has the chance to be the next president.

Very underrated comment. I think the whole world is expecting this to take place at some point.
Also, did you see at the end of the article that a lot of these Russian soldiers can opt out of the war in Ukraine at the end of May? The war might be over and nobody knows it yet...

Russia faltering soon may be true, but the carnage on both sides is about as bad as it has ever been right now. Ukrainians are taking major losses as they pour manpower and gear to stop what we can only hope are last gasp advances by the Russians. Heartbreaking.

That's fucking hilarious. We kick them out 8 years ago, they finally counter. It's like the Browns, Lions, and Jaguars making their own football league.
"The economies of the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy, and Canada continue to collapse under the pressure of sanctions against Russia.
lol
China, India, Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Turkey - is 24.4 per cent ahead of the old group in terms of GDP per capita."
Well, that's objectively false.

The balls it takes to tell lies that blatantly obvious...
Mexico is such a rich country that half of its citizens live here as slave labor for the rich and the other half are still trying to get here.
I seriously think the entire world should go ahead and extend the Russian sanctions to these other countries until they leave this new G8 or Russian pulls out of the Ukraine. Let's see how these "powerhouse" economies stand alone.

Mexico's economy is shit right now. Exorbitant electricity prices, nationalization fucking everything up. Like they're trying to be the next Venezuela.

Remember when Venezuela was the darling of the far left and always given puff pieces on CNN and their ilk?
I've mentioned it here before, but Chavez was nationalizing everything and it all went to shit. Violence, unrest, and a mass exodus of its citizens fleeing for a better life in Columbia. Had a Columbia guy here in my office talking all about it.
Oddly, the far left and CNN stopped talking about Venezuela.

A couple of Americans were captured fighting with Ukrainian forces.
They're not active duty servicemen or anything. I won't like it here because it's part of CNN's always updating Ukraine War page, but Russia says the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to these Americans and they could face the death penalty.
Interesting.

I think they already sentenced some British born guys who were actually sworn into the Ukrainian armed forced to death. So yeah, these guys are kind of fucked.

If they are uniformed troops, Geneva Convention applies.

NATO has officially invited Finland and Sweden to join.
Putin's doing a hell of a good job at achieving the exact opposite of what he wants.
