At least until he gets drunk, so until tomorrow...
Seriously though, they HAVE to do this now. Find out if there's a future with this kid or not. Then they can either keep him or trade him to Dallas.
Bleh. I'd still have to stick with Austin Davis. At least I know he's showing up clean, sober, and on time. I might try toss Johhny Tradebait some starts to up his stock a little but he's not the future in Cleveland anymore than Bridgewater is in Minnesota. You pissed away a draft pick on the wrong dude. Suck it up, get what value you can, and move on.
Speaking of the Vikings... I've been thinking about how totally fucked they are. That's the team leader/child abuser bitching about how he was "outcoached." I've never seen coaching in my fucking life that was an excuse for the shitty player performances I saw yesterday. It was like harkening back to the tenure of Tavaris Jackson. Their D is overrated against both the pass and run, their ground game has about two years left before AP's wheels come off, the passing game has been DOA since fucking Brad Johnson left, and the O-line is a joke.

Rams fire OC. Well, maybe that's a bit of a stretch. He's really more of a "coordinator."
Demarco rides the bench. Goddamn, do I ever need Mathews to come back this week. Fantasy playoffs start and Murray's not the favoured son.

Demarco Murray is the DC Comics of the NFL. He doesn't know his own product, and thus, signed with the wrong team.

Hanging respectably with some bastard that scored over 100 points. I'm leading by 15 in a 2-week ordeal with Reed tonight still to go.
C'mon, fucking Redskins. Shut out, defensive TD, and a couple Jordan scores would be cool.
Hanve't been logging in. Logged in tonight, I'm 4-8, and in the loser's bracket. OH well

I'm the #2 seed in the loser bracket. Sucks because I bet one more week would've let me break into the winner's tree. My players are coming on: cam, green, even Jeremy hill.

Wow, which team will suck worse tonight?

5:30 into the game: 3 punts + 1 fumble lost already. Oh, and a fumble not lost too
another punt. Dallas has 9 yds of offense, Washington has -1.
7 punts in the first quarter.

This is truly an exciting, edge-of-your-seat game with an atmosphere comparable to the finest the LPGA tour has to offer.

Fucking lost the cash league last game by 15-20 points. Ah, well. I wasn't getting a bye or knocked out of the playoffs either way. Seattle's offense is also getting hot at exactly the right time. Baltimore, Cleveland, and St. Louis in the next 3 weeks. I need Ryan Mathews to clear concussion protocol now so he can vulture Demarco's workload. His runs have been looking better than Murray's all damned season. If DM got sat for Sproles, I bet he'd take a backseat to Ryan.
Catt league: 4th straight week of 95 points or more, got 122 -- tops in the league, an 18 point cushion for next week, and hilariously enough my opponent had Baldwin and Wilson on his bench.

That was the NFL's impression of a basketball game. You only needed to watch the last two minutes.
And I thought Murray was no longer the first stringer in Philly?

He's paid too much to bench. He was 50/50 with Ryan before the head trauma.

My FF draft bust from a year ago finally gets cut by another team.
The Scooby-Do villain chase scene that is the NFC East playoff hunt.
Cash league playoff roster as the #6 seed:
Going with a "3-2" setup with Russell Wilson at QB unless someone gets hurt:
2 RBs:
Chris Ivory + Mathews/Sproles/Riddick
2 WRs:
Downtown Tony Brown + Doug "Still a Better Actor than Stephen" Baldwin (maybe John Brown if Doug falters)
2 TEs:
Jordan Reed and Barny.

Cincy vs. Cleveland, which is interesting considering both of them sucked equally 10-15 years ago.
When the Browns and Bengals both stunk for years, Cleveland fans knew they could count on bloodying Cincy at least once a season. For so long, the Bengals were just as inept as anything Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski or -- almost finished -- Mike Pettine have churned out.
But not anymore. While the Bengals clung to their team-building philosophy, the Browns blew up the machine over and over in a stunning show of outward desperation. Nothing lasting, nothing real. While the Bengals have sought specific players to fit their scheme for more than a decade, hundreds of athletes have been wasted by Cleveland.
...
Here we sit, hours after the team has switched quarterbacks again. It was a decision that was made either by the coach, the general manager, the team president, the owner or a tangled collection of them all.
I can't help but think back to the league meetings in Phoenix last March. Around the NFL's Conor Orr and I were grabbing dinner at the hotel bar after a long day when Cardinals coach Bruce Arians strolled in with Steve Keim, the team's talented general manager. We noticed right away how they happily sat together, talking, laughing and living it up. Two peas in a pod.

What do season tickets go for in Cleveland nowadays? $50 for all the home games put together?
