I love that the media still has to justify their "Carolina sucks" theme: http://fivethirtyeight.com/feature....rt-11-0

They're not saying the Panthers suck in that article, just that they're worse than every other 11-0 franchise in history. I don't argue the point. They're in the weak NFC South and play the weak AFC South and NFC East. That has to be the easiest schedule in football.

Packers at Redskins -That would be awesome. I would be sooooooo happy as I sold my playoff tickets :p

Matchup question:

WR

John Brown at STL
or
Anquan Boldin at CHI

I can't weigh-in on those things, I'm always wrong. (wait...)

NFL Predictions. I'll be honest, I'm a little surprised to see Redskins only 53-47% favorites against Dallas. But I'll take a 33% chance to win the division.

I'm glad people are still doubting the Panthers. All these 1 rankings are scary. The team loves to be underdogs, tends to perform better in underdog situations.

Wouldn't be Carolina if someone wasn't throwing some shade.

20-0 at the start of the 3rd and Detroit still manages to pull a Cleveland and lose it. They gave GB an extra play at the end ... and I had to remind myself Suh didn't play for them anymore ... where one of their fucktards facemasked Rodgers for 15 yards at time expired. Next play, hail mary, Pack Queers win. To pour salt in the wound, Theo Riddick barely got me more points than Richard B. Riddick.

But who? The answer is probably the Washington Redskins, who are tied with the New York Giants for first place at 5-6. Washington doesn't play another opponent that has a winning record (the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills are each 5-6). The New York Giants play three winning teams (New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings), the Philadelphia Eagles play two of the best teams in football (New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals), and the Dallas Cowboys without Tony Romo play two winning teams (Green Bay Packers and Jets).

Washington also has a tiebreaker edge, with just one loss in the division so far. The Eagles and Cowboys have two each and the Giants have three.

Wooooooooooooooooooooo! Yeah, we suck, but whatevs.

they're not as bad as you think. SF is MUCH better with Gabbert at QB than Kap. Ditto for Denver and Brock vs Manning.

Washington looks to be in great shape though. The Giants are in disarray, the Eagles should fold, and the Cowboys lost Romo before Washington has played them even once.

So I guess who knocks them out of the playoffs and where does Cousins sign?

The Eagles seem relevant when Bradford plays, which says something about how badly Sanchez sucks.

NE could be in trouble in the playoffs. I was listening to Bill Simmons, a huge NE homer, and he was talking about seeing guys catching passes from Brady that he didn't even know were on the team.

He says he planned to stick the landing, but forgot to drop the ball, so he couldn't hang on.

There's a real chance they'll be 7-7 after the next two weeks. @Cincy then home for Denver. I feel like they need to win 1 of those games to get into the playoffs.

Cash league:
Fuck me. Played the wrong dudes again. Wilson's benched, as was Doug Baldwin and John Brown. Ivory, Riddick, and Boldin totally fucked me over. If Jordan Reed and Washington's D combine for 25.5 points, I suck. It doesn't really matter except to my playoff seeding, but I'd like to finish the season with a div win.

Catt league:
Hanging respectably with some bastard that scored over 100 points. I'm leading by 15 in a 2-week ordeal with Reed tonight still to go.

C'mon, fucking Redskins. Shut out, defensive TD, and a couple Jordan scores would be cool.

I can't believe this, but I'm going to defend Belicheck.

He's taking heat for this interaction with the league's only female ref.

I don't get why folks are upset.
1. He clearly never touches her. He's just using his hands to describe what he saw, and he does so above her shoulders.
2. She doesn't seem to understand what personal space is as she steps WAY too close to him.
3. He takes a step back and is clearly uncomfortable with how close she came to him.

People need to relax.

Yeah, that made me cringe especially after what happened in New Orleans where the Saint threw the ball against the wall just missing a photographer and a woman. (He was also flagged.)

Manziel is the starter again.

At least until he gets drunk, so until tomorrow...

Seriously though, they HAVE to do this now. Find out if there's a future with this kid or not. Then they can either keep him or trade him to Dallas.

No problem with Bill, stadiums are loud - you have to get close. Coaches talk to referees right up next to each other all the time.

Antonio Brown though, damn I never noticed the woman behind the padding. I'm cool with celebrations, but perhaps body control should trump style.
