My bench in the cash league got destroyed this week:

Bradshaw ... gone for season
Jimmy Graham ... gone for season
Ryan Mathews ... still not progressing through concussion protocol
Karlos Williams ... shoulder injury, might not be ready this week

This leaves my bench with 2 healthy Wilsons in Russell and Marquess. Running with 2 RBs/WRs/TEs the rest of the way unless they get hurt. Have to shop for a new D, too. Russell has nice weeks in 14 and 15, and Fitzpatrick complements him with good matchups in during other weeks. I got $20-something left in free agent money. If I get past the first round of the postseason, it'll be impressive. Two weeks would be a miracle.

Random thoughts on tonight's game, these are kind of Wasteland, OH-related, so I guess they're indirectly directed at Stranger:

1) I saw a banner in Cleveland (aka Wasteland, OH) during the Ravens game that read, "We still have LeBron." Stranger, tell the fans that Baltimore doesn't have a team in the NBA and hasn't had a thugball franchise since 1954.

2) Dwayne Bowe has $9M guaranteed in his contract. It was probably written and signed by the same genius that gave a Real World, NFL: Cleveland cast member a guaranteed $8M over 4 years. Anyhow, the Mythbusters wrapped up their last season and they probably want shit to do. I bet they can design and build a robot that can:

i) run all the signature Bowe plays: incorrect routes, routes where he'll never be open, erratic routes, routes directly into coverage, and finally routes that take so long to execute the QB gets sacked

ii) drop passes even if it's wide open

iii) come in under $9M

Horseshit. I think offsides is called less than holding. I see it all the time and I don't go by the black line on TV. I go by the yardage. Guys routinely line up offsides and it never gets called.

Fucking cash league went nuclear last night and this morning due to trade controversy right before the deadline. One motherfucker dropped his entire team right before the free agent auction this morning. Fucking prick. May as well just hand the championship to the dude that happened to be online during that magical 60-minute fire sale.

The fire sale is being undone but the chances of having a league next year are about 0. This will be the second one that's folded in as many years, partially due to trade bullshit.
