The DVR is messy. I'm suffering it now for the Olympics. Really hard to find what I want.

With the addition of Adult Swim, that seriously increases the chances of my switching to Youtube TV in a few months when I rearrange the household.
How much was it, again?
And I can just turn on YTV at 10pm, and start watching Adult Swim shows for 5 hours, without having to do a bunch of clicking for "next video," or whatever?

$35/month.
Yes, it's like normal TV, not just Youtube.

Usually, commercials. It's TV.
Sometimes though, for reasons I'm not sure about, it says "CHANNEL IS IN COMMERCIAL BREAK" instaed of showing commercials, but that mostly seems to happen on ESPN

I was wondering, like, what local commercials get shown? Will I see crazy Ed's car lot commercials, from Atlanta?

So, i can use YTV anywhere I have a TV and an internet connection. Or wifi, if you're a peasant. We don't need to pay for four receiver boxes.
What does THE DVR record on?

I have seen some local commercials, so I assume it's the broadcast you would have seen. But I dont really pay ttention enough to know.
The DVR is the "cloud" there's no physical box. So you need internet to watch it. Anywhere you have a device that has a supported app, you can watch it. So with a TV, you need a smart TV, or a Chromecast device (they were giving these away free when you joined YoutubeTV when I joined)

I'm pretty sure you'll get the local stations in Ohio. I get the ones out of Detroit.

If I have a device that has a Youtube App... PS3, a smart blueray player... I can watch Youtube TV, right?
Did I ask this before?
I'll be getting it about a week before the last person who watches HGTV is leaving.

Youtube TV app is separate from Youtube app. So I don't know.

My kid's XBox One is good to go. Aside from that, I need to buy new devices.

My wife is not loving the absence of the Viacom channels, but neither of the two quality services (Hulu and YouTube TV) have them.
Gordon, you may want to compare Hulu Live and YouTube TV. Hulu Live might be a better fit for you.

I want:
Adult Swim.
SyFy
Comedy Central
TBS
The four networks
And that's about all I need. I plan on keeping 'flix and Amazon prime for everything else.

Both have all but Comedy Central. Neither has that.
CC is a Viacom channel along with MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike, and some others. Viacom sucks and won't give anyone rights to their shit.

I can live without CC. Probably the bottom priority of everything I listed.

Plex has everything.
