Well, he wasn't arrested. But still, not a good look when you are trying to repair your already shitty reputation.

Police responded to a domestic argument between Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend off Nagel Road in Avon on Monday involving alcohol.

The Avon police report said the two had been drinking around 2 o’clock that day and Manziel’s girlfriend, Colleen Elizabeth Crowley, was intoxicated. In the report, Crowley told police Manziel hit her and pushed her head against the glass of the car.

Manziel denied hitting Crowley and because of inconsistencies in her story, and the fact neither wanted to press charges, Avon police allowed the two to leave together and no arrest was made.

Johnny's comments via Twitter:

Colleen and I got into a dumb public argument on the way home Monday afternoon. It probably looked more interesting than it was and ...

I know I would stop and check if I saw a couple arguing on the side of the road. It was embarrassing but not serious ...

and when we talked to the police and they realized everything was alright and I was sober, we went home together and everything is fine.

You were sober? Yeah, I'd have a hard time believing it.

I got a hell of a mixed bag today.

Cash league:
Not going against anyone doing well except Forte. Tony Brown killed me. John Brown came through in a big way. And goddamn Barnidge only had 3 catches this week for 30 yards. Fortunately, two were TDs. Also had Chris Ivory. In spite of me scoring more points than Atlanta's D this week, I may win.

Catt league:
I don't have one dude with double digits points yet, and John Brown's on my bench. A.J. Green and Tony Brown may need to start a support group together soon. Totally fucked.

In the so-called Catt League, I've got Ben Rothlisberger. I'm 3-2. I never took him off starting duty after he got injured.

I'll be 3-3 after today though.

Cash league: I suck unless Larry Donnell puts up 23+ points.
Catt league: I could've played almost any other combo of WR/RB/Flex than the one I started and done better. Benched: Jeremy Hill (12 points), Steve Smith (19 points), John Brown (17 points). I'm slated to lose by 4 points. Maybe OBJ goes for less than 7, but I doubt it.

It's October, and that means every NFL player is wearing pink probably when he'd rather not to promote awareness of breast cancer. Apparently, if your cancer doesn't involve titties, though, fuck you:
Heyward, a defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, wrote "IRON HEAD" on his eye black for the second consecutive week. It's meant to honor his father, former NFL running back Craig "Iron Head" Heyward, who died of cancer in 2006 at 39 years old.
...
That seems to jibe nicely with the NFL's annual October pinkwashing, which theoretically promotes breast cancer awareness but brings more than its share of functional problems. It's a highly visible move by a second-generation NFL star. This is the sort of stuff you'd want to encourage, right?

Nope. The NFL's rules against individual shows of tribute like Heyward's are as stupid as they are sacrosanct. The endgame is fines for players like Heyward and teammate DeAngelo Williams, who lobbied the league to wear pink year-round in honor of his mother and other family members. Heyward paid up $5,787 last week, and he'll pay up again.

WTF was up with that deep pass, Bradford?!?! GODDAMNIT, COOPER. Fucking country music is rotting your brain. Swear to jeebus, a Japanese Buddhist must be running Philly's offense. Every time they score, they have to turn it over a couple drives later to be polite.

Jaguars to play in London when Jacksonville inevitably kicks their asses to the curb.

From the "where are they now" files ... Dennis Pitta and his amazing trick hip.
