Trump = fuckwit.
"I know Indians that are extremely proud of that name," Trump said. "They think it's a positive."
I don't even need to mention the team specifically, but no, they don't.

Philbin told the practice squad players to take it easy on Tannehill to not affect the young quarterback's confidence.
This is such a big problem that there aren't words to correctly analyze what's happening here.
Yes there are.
Ryan Leaf
Elvis Grbac
Tim Couch
Chad Pennington
But none of them gouged you contractually quite like Tannehill. Here's the: total, average annual (non-guaranteed) salary, plus their guaranteed counterparts, respectively, and finally the percentage, for NFL QBs.
Aaron Rodgers Packers $110,000,000 $22,000,000 $54,000,000 $10,800,000 49.10%
Russell Wilson Seahawks $87,600,000 $21,900,000 $31,700,000 $7,925,000 36.20%
Ben Roethlisberger Steelers $87,400,000 $21,850,000 $34,250,000 $8,562,500 39.20%
Eli Manning Giants $84,000,000 $21,000,000 $36,500,000 $9,125,000 43.50%
Philip Rivers Chargers $83,250,000 $20,812,500 $37,500,000 $9,375,000 45.00%
Cam Newton Panthers $103,800,000 $20,760,000 $41,000,000 $8,200,000 39.50%
Matt Ryan Falcons $103,750,000 $20,750,000 $42,000,000 $8,400,000 40.50%
Joe Flacco Ravens $120,600,000 $20,100,000 $29,000,000 $4,833,333 24.00%
Drew Brees Saints $100,000,000 $20,000,000 $40,000,000 $8,000,000 40.00%
Ryan Tannehill Dolphins $77,000,000 $19,250,000 $21,500,000 $5,375,000 27.90%
Tannehill is being paid like a top 10 QB, in spite of his tiny guarantee. Flacco got the same bloated contract, so he has the same shitty percentage. Notice names missing from that list? Peyton? Luck? Brady? Carr? Dalton? Palmer? Just a few dudes whose QB rating is killing Ryan's. He's somewhere in the early 30s at best with a cool 77.1 QB rating. Even Johnny Boyziel came close to the 100 mark, and his ass got benched for McCown, who is also performing miles above Tanne-shill.

Idiot NFL player blames refs for fucking up a single play call.
(The officials have) got to be held accountable, just like the players are
How about the players being held accountable for playing a shitty game? You were behind 3 points all night on an offense that couldn't score. Own up to your fucking 0-4 record.

He kinda has a point. But, the tap didn't really impact what was going to happen, that ball was going out of bounds anyway.

He has a point, but unlike him officials do get reviewed and graded for their performance, AND it can impact their earnings.
Poor grades mean less or no playoff assignments. that means no playoff checks. It can also mean an official is out of a job.

No more slacking, McFly.
"To me, the best teams that I've been a part of are the ones that, during the week, they go after each other," Campbell said. "Whether it's practice squad versus the defense. They're giving the look of practice squad versus offense, but it gets heated. And it's intense, and it's people that are fighting to win. they want to get noticed or they want to do their job. It's not just going through the motions."

Early L.A. rumours...
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Panthers owner Jerry Richardson seem to have taken sides in the debate, the former supporting Stan Kroenke's Rams moving to Inglewood and the latter favoring Dean Spanos' Chargers going to Carson. (The Raiders clearly have taken a backseat among the three teams hopeful of relocating.) ESPN reported that the league lean is toward the Chargers.

"I'm not a dick," says Tannehill.
Goddell-bot speaks ... about fantasy football because nothing else is going on he needs to worry about.
Goodell addressed the proliferation of daily fantasy sports, and stressed that the league wanted to make sure fans are "protected" and the companies are acting responsibly.
"The first thing we do is protect the integrity of the game, as I just mentioned. Fantasy football -- and I draw a distinction on this, season-long fantasy and daily fantasy -- because season-long fantasy has been around for quite a while. ... States are the ones that make the determinations about whether something is legal or not legal. We follow the law, and we will do that.
"We feel a cautious approach is the right way. But we're protecting our game. And daily fantasy, it's hard to see the influence it can have on the outcome of a game because individual players are picking different players from different teams, mashing them up ... it's not based on the outcome of the games, which is our biggest concern, so our position continues to be that way.
Your game needs integrity before you go protecting it.

Who? The NFL or Draft Kings and their ilk?
Don't defend Draft Kings and the other "skill" companies. Lots of folks just lost a lot of money because of their lack of foresight.

That always happens. I have no problem with DK/FD/etc. I believe they should ban employees from betting, but I also think they'll struggle with the same issue that the stock market does with inside information, friends, etc.

Hoyer with a hail Mary because the Indy secondary decided to bunch up like a fucking Madden game. No really, watch the replay.

The Houston Texans defense can eat a bag of dicks.
#2 rated defense coming into the year and they're averaging -1.8 points a game. They single handedly lost me my game last week when they registered -10 points. (I lost by 5.)
I'm wondering if it's legal for me to add/drop a defense every week and always grab whatever defense is on a bye? I think that strategy would work until week 10 when byes end, and then you might get stuck with some shitty team during your playoff run. Still...

I lost last week because I left 79 points on my bench. I lost by 5 and my defense scored -10. Probably the worst loss I've ever had in fantasy.
This week I'm over thinking everything.
Had I started Bree's over Dalton last week I would have won by a point. Who knew he'd throw a 50+ harder at the end of the game after returning from a shoulder injury? He's in again because of that Seahawks matchup for Dalton.
Meanwhile, I had to choose between Yelton (workhorse), Martin, Murray, and Hillman who is going to get even more carries since Anderson is terrible.
I ended up going with Yelton and Hillman. Martin is mister inconsistency and he's going against the 4th best run defense in the NFL. Murray is on the bench until I see him gel in that offense.
By the way, for the first time in my fantasy career I started a Brown (Benjamin).

And, of course, Martin is going off.
NFL players should be paying me to not start them.

Shit, really? I started Martin in the cash league due to injuries. Hah. I also put in Hurns in the catt league. Even he has a score.
