Say what you want about the NFL referees, but this is kind of awesome.
That really speaks to how seriously they take their job.

I think they all just realized they've got a chance to be heralded as saviours for a few weeks when they're normally lambasted at every opportunity.

Haven't really been paying close attention, but to me this seems like how a strike should work.
Labor: Pay us more or we strike!
Bosses: Go ahead, you're replace-able
(turns out, replacements aren't that great)
Bosses: Uh...yeah...here's some more money
If it turns out that the replacements do fine, then I'm all for that, too. And by God if I see how it should be legal for the Labor guys who are replaceable to stand around and assault the replacements. That shit should land them in jail.

Well, the problem in this case is that there are many tiers of refs.
Pro
IA College - Big Six
IA college - Other
IAA College
IAAA College
High school
etc
Well, none of the college people, the ones most likely to be good replacements, were willing to risk their jobs to move up. So the NFL had to recruit from the lowest of the low.

Somebody told me that in Texas, high school ref is above college ref.

Anyone else fuck up their draft this year? 50% of my RBs busted. My quarterbacks, on the other hand, are kicking ass.

All of my WRs are injured to some degree in my main league. I'm 2 and 1, but doubt it can last. Also have a Bradshaw in both leagues, sadly.

I'd take Bradshaw over Redman (who may as well be Method Man's buddy) or the ironically named Jahvid Best.

If he weren't injured, I'd be fine with him/.

Had him last year and rode the injury train. Not doing that again. Wonder what the split between Ahmad and Andre Brown's going to be.
While my luck in RBs might suck, I have the ability to pull WRs off the waiver wire and then make them huge. I pick up Andre Roberts, he goes 110 plus and a couple scores. This cannot be coincidence. He looks to be getting better chances than Fitzgerald half the time.

I need Michael Bush to suck so I can win both my leagues this week. Got upper tier scores in both places, and I'm still probably going to lose both unless Bush tanks.

Having the Bears D suck it would assist, too. Hope he crushes them.
