Manziel up to bat.

DeSean gone. Indy's self-destructing. Rams are hanging with Seattle for over one half now. If Arizona puts up a strong showing, San Fran's year is DOA.

Had the choice between Mariota and Winston in my keeper league.
Took Winston.

Eh, one game. In general, I was higher on Marcus than Jameis even before this.
Things learned today:
1) Peyton's not going back to the Super Bowl. He might not even win his div.
2) Rams look legit as all hell. NFC Central is going to be brutal, unless you're SF, in which case you're the community whore because you're getting fucked all year.
3) Indy lost a step from last year.
4) Ravens still suck.
5) Fucking Dolphins. You couldn't give them the fucking div.
Theoretically possible for me to win both games this week in spite of the Dolphins and Denver in the pay league. Probably screwed in catt league.

#1 - Yeah, it's been a slow decline. But it's over.
#2 - NFC West, you mean.
#3 - 5 - Yeah.
The Fins should be ashamed.

Yeah, I keep forgetting that "west" = "west of the Mississippi."

Jets look semi-decent as well. Then again ... Cleveland. Hell, Sam Bradford with a torn ACL is better than McCown and Boyziel combined. Bradford might be worth a damn one day.

Cleveland is worthless. Give the Jets a few more weeks.
I was surprised by the Bills. And so far by the Giants/Cowboys.

I'm waiting for OBJ to get about 20 points in garbage time in the 4th to fuck me over.

My keeper league team sucks, for various reasons.
But this year, Carson Palmer was available in the draft, so I picked him up and started him instead of Eli. (I also picked up Tyrod Taylor, and Winston, cuz my QBs were shit).
That worked out well. Using Indy's D, and Adam Vinatieri, did not.

WTF were the Giants thinking?
3rd and goal from the Cowboys 1. 1:40 left on the clock and Dallas has no timeouts. So they throw?
Incomplete pass. Field goal. 90 seconds left for Dallas to drive down and win with 9 seconds left in the game.
Run the ball and even if you don't score you take another 40 seconds off the clock.
Really bad clock management.

Stupidity has company.
One of the best parts of the now defunct Tuesday Morning Quarterback was a section called "WHY ARE YOU PUNTING?!?!?!?!"

More details.
Not just an incomplete pass, but threw it out of the end zone - on purpose. Dumb ass.
