Given Buffalo's playoff history, that might be the last big bang he gets for his bucks.

AP wants 2500. As a dude living midwestern Vinland, I hope he gets it. Will make Bridgewater's life so much easier and maybe we won't torpedo Mike Wallace's career the way we did Jennings's.

...And Norv Turner is smoking crack again.

This is the same clown that said Brandon Weedon would flourish in his system! We saw just how good that went.

So, AP will run for 2,500 and Bridgewater is a top 5 QB?!?? Ok, lets just hand them the ring cause this team is gonna be top notch!

I beg to differ. This team is at best 3rd in their own division.

Norv's a bit insane, but the numbers aren't entirely hostile to his theory.
But it speaks volumes that Bridgewater was one of the NFL's most effective quarterbacks down the stretch with Matt Asiata, Charles Johnson, Jarius Wright and Chase Ford -- not Adrian Peterson, Greg Jennings, Cordarrelle Patterson and Kyle Rudolph.

Teddy was playing with the scrub squad for half of last season.

This team is at best 3rd in their own division.

Packers are tops in the div until Rodgers runs into a secondary that can stop him, jeebus knows Lacy hasn't shown he can dominate the offense and Green Bay is a passing team. That said, the Bears are at the bottom until they get off the psychotic notion that Jay Cutler is their man. With their top guys back, the Vikes look at least as decent as the Lions. The Vikes slogged their way through a fuckton of injuries and a major suspension last year. The Lions look very, very beatable if anything happens to Megatron.

I actually think the Vikings will be a pretty good team. But that division is gonna be a rough one. The Packers are who they are and are clear favorites to win it. The Lions have actually shown not to have to depend on Calvin as much as they have in the past, Golden Tate and a decent running game has evened out their offense. The Bears.. well who knows. They can be dangerous or downright shitty, but John Fox has shown to make decent teams become winners. We'll see if he can do the same with Cutler.

Also, I may or may not be a little bitter with the Johnny pick over Teddy. So I had to give old Norv a nut punch. He didn't do shit but throw the ball 70% of the time when he was here.

Golden had a chance to land the #1 WR gig in Seattle. He's not a top guy. He's a hell of a complementary receiver, though, because he'll make you pay for man coverage the entire game.

Brady still fighting, but...
Brady, according to sources, remains adamant that he will not accept a suspension and that any punishment must specify that it's for failing to cooperate with an NFL investigation and not for breaking rules with the footballs.

It appears Lance...I mean Tom Brady really wants to make sure his legacy is untarnished. It probably will be for future generations who will forget, but to the people that aren't Patriots fans, he's a cheating scumbag.

I hope he holds fast and the NFL decides to expand the suspension.

"You're right, Tom. That suspension was only for not cooperating. We should have tossed on another four because you blatantly cheated. Thanks for the reminder."

Upheld.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has upheld Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on integrity of the game, the league announced Tuesday.

Eat an underinflated dick, Tom.

Another retirement. You'll remember Johnny as the dude that quit the Fins due to bullying.

And yet Le'Veon Bell gets his suspension reduced

The Steelers look like they win the day, they get to play a Brady-less Patriots team on opening day and Bell gets a game reduction on his suspension..

Fuck Pittsburgh!

Nah, Brady is going to sue in federal court and try to get an injunction so he can play until the case is heard.

We'll have to face the cheater, which is fucked up because the Steelers lost two AFC championship games to the Spygate Patriots. You know, the scandal where the NFL destroyed all the evidence?

I'd say "Fuck the Browns", but at this point what more could be done to them?

His appeal should be shot down.
Feldman said Brady's team will have to successfully argue that the quarterback would be "irreparably harmed by not being allowed to play" in order to secure the injunction.

Goodell's denial was a HUGE shot at Brady. Note that it points out something none of us have heard. Brady destroyed evidence during the investigation.

Gee, I wonder why he'd destroy a cellphone? Fuck him,

He needs to man up and just admit he was cheating.

Goodell indicated that Brady's destruction of evidence was a factor in upholding the suspension.

"The most significant new information that emerged in connection with the appeal was evidence that on or about March 6, 2015 -- the very day that he was interviewed by Mr. Wells and his investigated team -- Mr. Brady instructed his assistant to destroy the cellphone that he had been using since early 2014, a period that included that AFC Championship Game and the initial weeks of the subsequent investigation," Goodell wrote in the final decision on the appeal.
