Remember when NFL players were only a danger to themselves if they owned guns?

Flacco "enjoying" time with Schaub. If I were Flaccid Flacco, I'd be thanking my lucky stars I have a fat-ass contract, a backup who's precisely zero threat to take the starting gig, and slightly above average QB stats on a team who's passing game take a backseat to special teams.

Fins snubbed Old Man Johnson.

NFL reduces suspension from 10 games to 4.
Hardy, who signed with the Cowboys this offseason, was originally suspended 10 games due to an arrest on domestic-abuse charges. A two-month investigation by the NFL "determined that there was sufficient credible evidence that Hardy engaged in conduct that violated NFL policies in multiple respects and with aggravating circumstances."

Let's go over this again. Beating a woman is still a less serious offense than smoking bud or drinking a cocktail while being on the substance abuse program. Way to go, NFL.

Sixers remind Philly why the Eagles might be the glass team.
During his first offseason as general manager of the team, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has acquired a number of talent players that are coming off of fairly serious injuries. Linebacker Kiko Alonso is coming off of a torn ACL. Safety Walter Thurmond missed 15 games last season with a pectoral injury. Linebacker DeMeco Ryans is recovering from a torn Achilles.
...
Getting a franchise quarterback can sometimes feel close to impossible in the NFL, and Bradford was once viewed as that kind of player. So far, five years into his NFL career, he has been anything but a franchise player. The fact that he has twice torn his ACL, and is still recovering from the last one, hasn't helped.

Well, he was unofficially banned 16 games last year, right?

RG3 is "done."
"There's no coming back," the undisclosed offensive coach told ESPN.com's Mike Sando. "He is done. The reason is, the injury slowed his legs, and his ego will not allow him to hit rock bottom and actually grind his way back up the right way."
