Greenlight

Consumers will soon be able to vote indy games onto Steam.

I think EA is right. Valve is ruining the industry with their sales, huge selection, solid software, award winning games, and giving their consumers so much power.

They should be more like EA, and force feed their consumers recycled garbage at inflated prices, all while insulting them.

Just a heads up during the steam sale lost of games have two prices. Once price is it sale during the whole sale and then another if it is one of the 9 games picked for the main page or the community choice.

So Skyrim has been both $39 and then $29 for yesterday and a bit of today.

I've noticed that too.

I think I'm going to skip Skyrim again. I still have games from the Christmas sale I haven't played, and I've already bought a dozen or so new games.

By the time the Christmas sale rolls around, I figure I'll be able to get it for $20.

i bought the 2 cheapest games i could find for a grand total of $4.98.

i got some Indie game thats called the Binding of Isaac, its ok, played it for like 5 mins then quit. It remindes me of the original Legend of Zelda when you're in the dungeon levels and you go from room to room shooting shit and finding keys and secrets to get to the next room with bombs and that sorta stuff. The cool thing is that its dark and gory as all hell, shit explodes into a satisfying pool of blood and i can get into that. I have a hard time with computer controls for games like this, unless its League of Legends all PC games feel really clunky and hard to control for me.

The other game i bought was only like $3.25 and its called From Dust i believe. I can't play this game cause evidently my graphics card is a POS that wont support this game. I kinda figured this might be the case with my arcaic PC but it looked cool playing God and all that. So i guess i won't be playing this game untill i get my new PC. Which is my first purchase after the wedding.. i have already ok'd this with my future wife!!

So i guess i just wanted to be a part of this huge Steam sale, and be able to join the chat channels at free will. So no more restarting chat just for me now. I must say, the sales are awesome. Great games for super cheap. I mean c'mon.. Borderlands for only $5 bucks!! its one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion. I'm thinking of stocking up on some good MMO's and RPG's if there are any out there that you can all suggest. I will just have to wait untill October to play them

Metro 2033 is a fantastic FPS that you'll love. It'll be one to play on your new PC, but it's only $5 right now. A sequel is coming.

Dungeons of Dredmor will be on sale at some point for under $5, and you'll be able to play it on your current machine. It's funny, and addictive. A new expansion for this is coming soon too.

You might like Trine and Trine 2. You use a wizard, thief, and warrior to travel through a 2D world, and solve any obstacles in your path. Not the toughest games, but beautiful, charming, and fun.

All I can think of at the moment.

I don't remember.

Bastion is $3.74 for the next 7 hours, and that's a pretty cool game. Should play on any system, and wait until you realize how the story is being told. It's a pretty awesome feature.

Dungeons of Dredmor is $1.99 as part of indy bundle VII. Buy it!!!! It's "Rogue", except with graphics and humor. A fantastic RPG.

Well, sale's pretty much done. Looks like I spent $171.44 on $883.53 worth of games, for an overall savings of 81%. Not bad!

That should keep me going until the Winter Sale.
