"This is my job," Goodell said in response to a question about Deflate-gate. "This is my responsibility to protect the integrity of the game. I represent 32 teams. All of us want to make sure that the rules are being followed. And if we have any information where the potential is that those rules were violated, I have to pursue that. And I have to pursue that aggressively.

I can only speculate on the amount and type of narcotics that were administered to Goodell to keep him from laughing and snickering. The best actor from the Royal Shakespeare company couldn't keep a straight face saying that.

If Cleveland loses draft picks over texting, New England should lose an entire draft.

Up and coming douche Julian Edelman takes a woman home from a club after celebrating the Patriots Super Bowl victory.*

She posts a picture after they were done and becomes public enemy number one in Boston.

While not NFL-related, I think we may be seeing the beginning of the end of anything below college football with respect to tackling.

The family claims his death was a result of brain injuries suffered while playing for the league.

Then the family should not have let him play.

I expect that at some point in the near future there's going to be a major kickback to this trend.

Does the nerf everything, PC crowd win this battle and end ALL remotely violent sports or are folks forced to sign away all their rights in some legally binding document that states they understand the risks?

No way. Expect it to extend to hockey, boxing, and UFC (probably in that order).

Yes way. Billion dollar industries are not going to go quietly into the night.

Advertisers will find some other way to push their products so it doesn't look like they're associated with acts of brain damage.

And anyhow, I'm not saying the NFL, NHL, IBF/WBA, and UFC are going to shut their doors overnight or anytime soon. I'm saying you'll see a massively restricted version of those sports until about the college level.

The saga of T-Bitch.
He had shared carries with Ahmad Bradshaw during the first 10 games of the season, but Bradshaw suffered a fractured fibula -- ending his season -- against New England on Nov. 16.

The Colts, according to a source, became frustrated with Richardson because they couldn't get in touch with him and didn't have any communication with him until around 1 p.m. the day after the Patriots game.

Fucking wow.

Bills sign Incognito.

Browns trading up for Mariotta?

That could get pricey. It's been rumored that Phily will be trying to get Mariotta too.

....I don't know, I'm not sure if Mariotta is going to be a great QB. At least he's a complete 180 from Johnny in terms of character. Personally I think Winston will have the better career but he's got his off the field issues too.

I think the best course of action for the Browns would be to resign Hoyer. But I wouldn't be surprised if they make a run for Sam Bradford or Nick Foles, neither of these guys get my panties wet, but that's what I've been hearing on local radio.

Oh hey, there's plenty of room on this Hoyer bandwagon, so far I've been pretty lonesome, c;mon have a seat!

You can probably get him cheap. You might want to keep two or three spare ACLs for him.

No, it means a homeless dude didn't tell the Browns to draft him.
