They really need to start asking Marshawn the right questions to get answers. Ask him about chain restaurants!
(oldie but great)

That's a funny clip, but did he pronounce a single word correctly?
I have often wondered why a reporter hasn't tried a more comedic approach with him.

Ummm....
he Washington Redskins have hired Matt Cavanaugh as their quarterbacks coach after going without one last season.
The team announced the move Wednesday.
Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy all started games at quarterback for the Redskins in 2014, when they were 4-12 and finished last in the NFC East for the sixth time in seven seasons.
Cavanaugh was the QB coach of the Bears the past two years, working with Jay Cutler, who threw 18 interceptions last season.
Before that, Cavanaugh coached quarterbacks for the Jets from 2009-12. He also has been an offensive coordinator in the NFL, and played 14 seasons for four clubs from 1978-91.

Yeah, I've never understood some of the revolving door hires like that one.

Blackmail. Nepotism. Good ol' boys club. Plain old stupidity.

Josh Gordon writes an open letter to his critics.
I really hope he wrote that, but let's be honest, that could easily be something create by his agent in hopes of saving his career.

That potential suspension is going to loom huge over the off season. Wait for it...
Gordon is cut by the Browns, then the Pats sign him and he has a Randy Moss-type renaissance season or two.

Catching deflated balls is easier than badly thrown properly inflated ones.

Fuck you Josh Gordon! talk is cheap!
Even though there are many worse things he can be doing than drinking beer and smoking weed, nobody is feeling sorry for him. America is good for giving people a second chance, but a 3rd, 4th or 5th chance??? Your dead to me Josh.

49ers: we've not yet begun to fuck up.
"It's not fixing Kaepernick," York said.
...
How many quarterbacks in this league can run 90 yards for a touchdown? I can't think of many but you have to put Kap in position where he can make those plays and put Kap in position where we can run the ball.
Number of successful QBs who rely on their legs besides arm: 2. Kaep ain't Vick or Wilson.
Goddell still a twat who keeps his job in the face of all logic.
Goodell on Marshawn Lynch's handling of media: "When you're in the NFL, you have an obligation to the fans. It is part of your job."
Says the man who's put on some of the most painful media conferences this past calendar year. Lynch might have an obligation to the fans, not the media. Don't mistake the two.

That I agree with...Goodell has no business saying anything to Lynch. That's the classic pot/kettle situation.
Goodell is a stooge who needs to be shitcanned.

What the fuck?
The NFL's investigation into the New England Patriots' alleged ball tampering has determined that the footballs used in last month's AFC Championship were not as underinflated as previously believed, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Though previous reports said 11 of 12 footballs were each underinflated by two pounds per square inch, the league actually found many to be only "a few ticks" under the minimum allowable PSI; only one was two pounds under the limit.
No, really. What the fuck? You've now proven you're completely incompetent when it comes to checking a pressure gauge. How do ten of the balls in question go from a -2 PSI diff to "eh, they're fine." You either supremely fucked up the initial measurement, jeebus hopes you would have taken multiple readings with a few gauges, or this final one. In the hell? Did Kraft just deliver a semi of gold bullion to Goddell's house last night?
2 PSI is approximately 15% of the 12.5-13.5 you're supposed to have. What the fuck equipment are you using that's so fucking inaccurate it has a double digit error margin? The $8 gauge I have for my car tires works better than that.
And just because I feel like railing on the NFL today:
New Atlanta Falcons team song sounds suspiciously like people cheering.
The "domestic violence" initiative. But who the hell is "NoMore.org?"
The Allstate Foundation
Avon Foundation for Women
Joyful Heart Foundation
Kaiser Permanente
Kimberly-Clark
Fifth & Pacific Foundation
Finn Partners
Verizon Foundation
Mary Kay Inc.
Break the Cycle
Casa de Esperanza
Men Can Stop Rape
National Alliance to End Sexual Violence
Oh well. At least it's a legit nonprofit charity.
It doesn't call itself a nonprofit, and nonprofit tracker GuideStar had no 990 forms for any groups with that specific name. There's not much information on No More's website itself. I searched for a mailing address, an office, or even a state it might be registered in but found nothing except "location: nationwide."
Oops.
So how the fuck did the NFL pick up this one anti-violence org out of the zillions out there, many of which have a thousand times more legitimacy?
You can probably guess why of all the many worthy domestic-violence groups out there, the one now partnered with the NFL is the one that doesn't seem to actually exist and was co-founded by an NFL-employed corporate branding specialist who boasts about her experience fighting anti-sweatshop activists, labor unions, and NGOs and telling stories about all the good things the brands actually do.
Awesome. NoMore.Org is a giant brand promotion scheme. I can't think of anything else the NFL front office can do to fuck itself in the ass with it's own dick.

Let the conspiracy theorists go to work on the New England bullshit.
First they get caught cheating and all documents related to it are shredded.
Now the first report clearly states cheating, with a report over a week later saying maybe they counted wrong? I don't even know 3 year olds who count from 1 to 11.
Did we go back in time to Roswell?

As for the game... "It's not like the Seahawks have anyone that can run the ball, right?" Jesus Christ.

Worst play call I've ever seen based on situation.
Also, every team in the NFL should start cheating now because it pays off.
Patriots win.*

Nice *
And... so I'm there with my kids trying to get them into the Super Bowl experience (they love Katy Perry, so that helped)... and the Nationwide ad comes on.
But yes, I give the win to the Snickers ad off the top of my head.
