Dude needs an award named after him.

If this became reality...
I don't think anyone would be surprised.
By the way, the Patriots DID under-inflate those balls.
It now doesn't matter if they win the Super Bowl or the next 7, Brady and Belicheck will always be known for the cheating. Congrats on that legacy!

Brad Johnson also admits to cheating.
The NFL needs to take drastic action right now to curb this shit. The one thing they had going for them through all other scandals is at least their product on the field is legit unlike the WWE/NBA and the MLB steroid users.

The NFL changed the rules in 2006 to allow quarterbacks the chance to scuff and rub up their game balls, breaking them in. Prior to that rule change, only the home team's quarterback was allowed to alter the balls in such a way.
Not even in the same ballpark. I find it bullshit the home QB was allowed to do it and visitors got to go fuck themselves.

Although Johnson admitted this several years ago, his claim is now gaining attention thanks to "DeflateGate." Johnson's alterations weren't quite as one-sided as the current reports involving the New England Patriots in which Tom Brady and the New England offense were reportedly using partially deflated balls that are easier to throw and catch, while the Indianapolis Colts had properly inflated ones.
I don't think I had heard that before? I thought it was all the balls.

What I found out from the scandal was that each team's offense only uses the balls that they provide for the game.

Well, you can be sure that policy will be changed.
Sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday that the Colts had concerns about underinflated balls after their regular-season game against the visiting Patriots on Nov. 16.
Not just one game... How long have they been doing this shit?
BTW, if I'm the NFL, Belicheck has to go. MLB has banned Pete Rose for life even though nothing he did affected the games he coached. Meanwhile, this is the second time Belicheck has been caught cheating.

That would be awesome.

Secondly, he's got Steve Smith's attitude without the talent, consistency, or style to back it up. This team shot from "underdog" to "douchebag establishment" in the span of a couple seasons.
The Onion responds.

Chris Canty wins the sports world today by quoting Charlie Murphy:
"The Patriots are habitual line-steppers," Canty said in an appearance on NBCSN on Wednesday.
The Ravens may have also known about the deflated balls.
As that article states, the Colts actually set aside balls from their game in November, as they noticed it then, too.
The NFL can't do anything about this year, but they need to send a message. This is a team that's been caught cheating before. Now they're doing it again, and there's already a Seahawk player excusing their behavior by describing it as "risk/reward". The integrity of their game has been in question twice over the last decade because of this single team.
If I was Goodell, I'd pull their first round draft pick for next year and do my best to force Belicheck out.
I really hope Tom Brady enjoys the fact that whenever people discuss him and starting spouting facts, there will always be someone who says, "Yeah, but what about his stats when playing with a properly inflated ball?"

His response should have been, "Hey, my set of balls was only the second-most serious problem last week."

That couldn't have been real. That press conference could not have been fucking real.
Brady also made the aforementioned ISIS remark, reminding the viewing public that the real enemy to American exceptionalism isn't the Patriots equipment managers.
You have to to be anally fucking me with a sea mine. He should have to go through the concussion protocol for some of those remarks. On the other hand, I have Gronk in my keeper league and I want one more year out of him.
