Hoyer welcome to compete again.
If Hoyer firmly believes he can beat out Manziel for a second time, though, Browns general manager Ray Farmer will keep the door open.

Hell, beat out Boyziel? Spiking the ball every down would be an improvement.

Arizona should have forfeited the season when Palmer got hurt.

Steelers offense looks bad without Bell.

Baltimore's secondary has stepped up. And say goodnight, Gracie.

Feels like watching old people play.

Old people drop things less often. They look like they're handless.

That was what, a 99.75 yard drive? I mean that ball was 6 inches from the goal line max.

Need the boys to win. Would rather go to Seattle then GB.

That pick-up-the-flag on the pass interference was some serious BULLSHIT.

I can't believe that. Defender didn't even swing his head around to find the ball.

John Harbaugh suffers concussion before press conference. Either that or he's mixing meds.
That's Joe Flacco. He is the best quarterback in football.

He's a good quarterback. He's a better than average quarterback. But I'd still rather have Brady, Luck, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, or Rothleishebrehbsberger.

If I were looking to the future, I'd take Luck or Wilson right now. Luck's making Boom Herron look like a real RB and Wilson almost makes me believe Seattle has a receiving corps.

Ref tries to explain his fuck up. Badly.
"The back judge threw his flag for defensive pass interference," Morelli told Archer, via a pool report released by the Cowboys. "We got other information from another official from a different angle that thought the contact was minimal and didn't warrant pass interference."
...
Morelli went on to reassert that the official with the better view of the play was Bergman.

Fucking bullshit. It doesn't matter what angle you view it from, the defender wasn't playing the ball. His head isn't going to magically swivel if you look at it from the side.

I get the anger, but at the same time, did you watch the OSU-Alabama game? I realize there might be different rules, but when the Buckeyes made the long throw on 1st down with 2 minutes to go that went incomplete it looked exactly like this play. The defender's back was to the ball, he made contact with the receiver, the receiver tried to make the play through him, etc. In the end, there was no flag.

Meanwhile, this was being passed around among my Lion fan friends last night: NFL ref official partying with Cowboys.

They tried to make it seem like it just happened, but this was a long time ago. Still...

I'll grant defensive pass interference is overcalled, but that was dpi.
