Man, I made out like a bandit during the Steam sales. I'd have to look to be sure, but I think I bought something like 30 interesting games this time around. That should keep me busy until next Winter Sale.

I probably purchased between 15-20 games. Only 1-2 were over $5.

I bought, uh... 3 games. Which, at the rate I play games, will keep me occupied until 2015. Although, I'm hopeful that as my youngest gets older, I'll finally get some me time again.

I bought 3 or 5. Was also going to buy Mass Effect for $5 one day but for some reason Paypal wouldn't let me pay out of my back account, the option was grayed out. I shopped out of that account the day before and the day after, so I don't know what happened there.

If you have a PayPal balance, you have to pay out of that first. If you didn't have a balance, no idea.

I get these STEAM notifications that keep popping up about getting "Skyrim FREE" and stuff like that, which requires you to sign up with some game service. I get 3-4 all at once, 3-4 times a day. All from the 2011 Holiday Group.

Nope, but maybe I didn't join it. I'll look when I get home tonight.

I'm a member of the "Holiday Sale Community Group" (I thought it was an achievement), and I receive no spam that I know of. Not a member of the "STEAM 2011 Holiday Group".

Actually opened the "HSCG" chat. It's tons of people trading gifts and stuff. One guy had HL2 and wanted to trade it for Skyrim. So, if you have an extra copy of Skyrim, you could trade it for HL2.

Most people weren't idiots though. Lots of low end game trading. Dungeon Defenders for Terarria and stuff like that. One guy was offering 10 refined metal (TF2 I believe) for Dungeon Defenders.

I must have the wrong one, then. Getting hit by a ton of spam today, and most of it from a guy whose steam profile is in russian.

Leaving that group.

Anyone else have their download speed cut in half? I have been at 1 MB/s and all of a sudden the last few days I am lucky to hit 500kb/s.

Steam is coming to iPhones/iPads and Droids.

Keep in mind that it'll already be on all Windows devices IF W8 does what they claim it'll do, and it's already on PS3...or X-Box...one of them. I believe soon heading to the other too.

So... turns out Supreme Commander 2 isn't a terrible game like I thought it was, oops.
