This had some info about the effect on kids that is encouraging... for kids anyway. Appears that vast majority of kids will be asymptotic carriers.

We're going camping next week, and my wife had the same concern about coming home since our area has the most cases in NC.
I'm going to guess low.

If the concern is the old people, why don't we just quarantine everyone over 65 and let the rest of us be fine.
Open some sort of camps. Concentrate the old people in them for a month until this whole thing blows over.

Starting tomorrow recommend- for ENTIRE state: •Postpone/cancel gatherings of 100+ people (conferences, sport events, concerts, worship services, etc.) •Employers & companies let people work from home when possible.
NOT recommending pre-emptive school closure right now.

Started watching the Andromeda strain on Amazon yesterday but I had to give it up because it was too unrealistic.
Not because the big bad was a blood clotting, out of space, deadly virus; but because the US government had way more control of the situation than ours will even pretend to be. I mean they built a giant underground bright red bunker for chrissake.
