1. How old was McCain when he ran? The left shouted him down as too old, he was going to die in office and leave Palin in charge.
2. The dems don't want Bernie, because I have a feeling he wouldn't Play Ball.

SO, uh.... since people who have picked their side are full of a ton of integrity, they won't support bernie because he's way too old.

It’s not surprising, then, that 36 percent of Democrats said Mr. McCain was too old to be president in a September 2008 Pew poll compared with 21 percent of independents and 11 percent of Republicans.
...
A July 1996 CBS/New York Times poll found that 48 percent of Democrats thought Mr. Dole’s age (he would have been 73 upon taking office) was an obstacle to him being an effective president compared with 37 percent of independents and 17 percent of Republicans.
...
I cannot find data for this time around. Probably cuz we're still in primaries.

Usually when people have cardiovascular events, their views shift on what they want to do with the time they have left.
Also, I think people will be leaning hard on him to drop out so his support will solidify behind Warren. Biden is more than likely out. The party has shown they are willing to open the can of worms that is his son's business dealings to hurt Trump. They don't care if Joe goes down with him.

He will get hammered on this during the primaries.

The more I think about it, the more I think the longer he holds out dropping out the better it is for Biden.

The WSJ published a article about how old Bernie is and how seriously people must consider that. I remember no such articles from the past elections by them. When it comes to politics, they may as well be Fox News some days.

McCain’s Albatross: His Age and Party Ties to Bush
One of the things I think that stands out about Bernie (at least for me) isn't just his age, but that by the end of his first term he'd be statistically beyond the average American male's lifespan. So odds are he actually would die in office.

I should be more specific: The WSJ editorial board published an editorial on Bernie.

No it's not. That's like saying being overdue for an oil change is the same as your engine seizing. Clogged arteries can be addressed without there being an actual heart attack. My step-dad had a double bypass back in the 70's without having had a heart attack. A heart attack means the blockage more than likely threw a clot and did physical damage to the heart muscle.

If your arteries are COMPLETELY CLOGGED, you're going to have a heart attack. if they are PARTIALLY clogged, you can have a bypass done, or angioplasty.

Correct. Clogged arteries are most often the cause of a heart attack. They are not the actual heart attack. What they were initially reporting about Sanders was less serious and NOT a heart attack.

Let's see if the left side of the political spectrum is as worried about this as they were about the attempts to disrupt Hillary's campaign.
