The receivers I have on my bench are good enough to be a starting trio for just about every other team in our league. I have to choose 3 starters among these 6 this week, Demaryius Thomas, Josh Gordon, Golden Tate, Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins, and Steve Smith. Oh what a dilemma.

My problem is RB where I've gotta pick 2 among Frank Gore, Terrance West, CJ Anderson, and Fred Jackson. Anderson is a given and was a great free agent pickup for me, but the other one is not so easy.

Also, going by total points scored, Leisher and I own 8 of the top 17 WR/TE in the league! And that doesn't even count Josh Gordon because of his suspension, he's easily a top ten point scorer. We have a monopoly over the receivers and all the scraps have been left for the other 10 teams to fight over.

Every auction league this season, I failed badly on WRs. Killed on RBs, TEs, and QBs.

#1 record in keeper PPR at the moment.
#1 in points scored in standard league, but I'm at .500. What the fucking fuck?
catt league: barely give a fuck anymore.

I honestly think I have the best receiving corp in our league this year: T.Y. Hilton, Gronk, Sanu, Sanders, and Bryant.

Yours are solid too, just a matter of figuring out matchups.

As for your RB, I'd go with Gore. West splits too many carries, and I swear Jackson has been in the league for 3 decades now.

I just checked and I did indeed clinch my division, a first round bye, and at least a tie for best record. All as a defending champ who accomplished all that last year! Even if I lose my first playoff game, I made a hell of a run defending my title. Woot!

I'm at 9-3 in keeper PPR, #1 in my div regardless of what happens next week. Three other div teams are 8-4 and all of them beating me in total points, two of them enough to where I'm not catching up in one week. I got a weak opponent next week. I ought to win. A couple of the 8-4 dudes play each other, so one of them is definitely 9-4 at the end. Other 8-4 guy plays a crappy team, too, so he ought to win.

Standard league: still got 3 #1 position players. Currently still in the winner's playoff bracket. I really, really need to win this week, though.

This makes me happy.

The winner of this division could be 5-11. (or, 5-10-1). That would be awesome.

This would make Packers fans less happy though:

...And one of those teams are going to have a home playoff game!!

meanwhile in the AFC north, for the first time in NFL history every team in the division is 3 games above .500

And yet, none of those teams will be in the AFC conference championship game.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

New England and the Patriots are one injury away from one and out. For the Patriots it's both Brady and Gronk. For the Broncos, if they lose Welker... :D

Seriously though, I don't count anyone out. The regular season is bullshit when it comes to determining who will win the playoffs.
-The Steelers were the first #6 seed wildcard to play on the road at #3, #2, and #1 and beat them all. Then beat the #1 from the NFC.
-The Giants followed that up with almost the exact performance a year later.
-The Patriots have been the regular season champ for 5-6 of the last 7 years, and probably will be again, but have won zero Super Bowls in that time. And only played for 1 or 2.
-Manning is not a guarantee of playoff wins. His team was the #1 the Steelers beat in Indy.
-The Saints went to Seattle with a losing record and crushed them a few years ago.

There's a reason they play the games.

For the Patriots it's both Brady and Gronk.

Gronk seems more valuable than Brady right now.

RG3 benched for Colt McCoy.. This is just unfathomable as a Browns fan. Just think, a few short years ago Cleveland was in trade talks with St. Louis in attempts to mortgage their future for this guy... In attempts to replace Colt McCoy!!! Not one human on earth would have guessed this would happen 3 years ago.

I can't blame the Skins though, RG3 has alienated himself from the team and looks absolutely lost. Colt never looked good while in Cleveland but maybe the change of scenery was a good for him. I'm happy he's getting a shot over RG3.

My brother and I are going to the Rams/Skins game in 1.5 weeks. I told him we'd probably be seeing McCoy, a few days ago.

McCoy also came in when we went to the Titans game. So doesn't look like I'll get to see RG3 play at all in person this year.

Jerry Jones still believes. If he has his way next year, he'll have RG3 and AP. NFL fans from 2-3 years ago are in awe.

What I learned on Thanksgiving:

1) The Cowboys "defensive renaissance" is fucking over.
2) Kaep can't throw for shit. He can't run anymore either.

What team wants to sign him and deal with the PR nightmare?

Not to mention that he was washed up in Baltimore.
