Two weeks ago I had a nasty flu. This week I've had a cold, which escalated yesterday resulting in me being forced to go take a covid test. (results pending)
Turns out at least two people here, one of whom I had close proximity to had the covids.
The one that had it, but I wasn't close to ever I did see in her department Wednesday. She was apparently quarantined for 5 days and now she's back at work. She's also in her 50s and very overweight. I guess the doctor gave her some drug that had completely turned her symptoms around within an hour.
How far we've come from those first days of covid.

The short (30 sec or so) clip of one of the top surgeons in the U.S. proclaiming the largest distributor of misinformation during Covid was the government. This is during a House subcommittee meeting, so, yes legit.

Shame mask wearers. Punish mask mandators. Raze Maskage and salt the ground.Discussion: Masks interfered with O2-uptake and CO2-release and compromised respiratory compensation. Though evaluated wearing durations are shorter than daily/prolonged use, outcomes independently validate mask-induced exhaustion-syndrome (MIES) and down-stream physio-metabolic disfunctions. MIES can have long-term clinical consequences, especially for vulnerable groups. So far, several mask related symptoms may have been misinterpreted as long COVID-19 symptoms. In any case, the possible MIES contrasts with the WHO definition of health.
Conclusion: Face mask side-effects must be assessed (risk-benefit) against the available evidence of their effectiveness against viral transmissions [i.e., NONE - me]. In the absence of strong empirical evidence of effectiveness, mask wearing should not be mandated let alone enforced by law.
